These are the rules.

These are subject to additions or changes but as they stand now:

#1. No cursing. There are children that visit this site. Please assume that they are lurking at any time. Cursing in a post will result in post removal and eventually more.

#2. No insults. While any internet message board will eventually have disagreements, it is possible to disagree without getting personal. Calling someone an idiot isn't acceptable.

#3. No multiple accounts. Anyone caught having multiple accounts will have one of their accounts banned.

#4. No trolling. If you are visiting this site from another board then you will act like a guest. If not you will be removed. This includes taunting with images and what not. If you wish to act as such, there is a place for that on the board called the Smack Shack.

#5 Honor the trade forum. Relevant reported trade discussions are welcome in the main Suns forum as news. If you have a trade idea that you created on your own or co-opted from another non-news source, please put it in the trade forum.

#6. Moderator decisions are final. Publicly complaining about them will only result in further action.

#7 No inappropriate images. If you wouldn't want your mother to see it than don't post it.

These posted rules count as your warning. It is your responsibility as a user of this site to promote a healthy community and behave accordingly. Penalties will depend on the severity of the infraction but will usually result in a short break from the Suns board. Trolling will be dealt with harshest.

Durant is a great player, but he has never elevated a team as much as the Suns need him to. The roster is Durant, Booker, and role players, most of whom wouldn't be in the rotation for a typical playoff team.

We got Kevin freaking Durant on the team and we have to deal with Monty Williams giving Shamet all of the minutes off the bench and inserting Wainwright into a playoff game to blow the lead in the 3rd quarter. 10 man rotation in a playoff game when we have the talent to play 8 deep at most. Arizona sports are just unbelievably cursed.

There is a lot to bitch about, however...

Durant missed too many shots early, Booker and Paul missed too many shots late. Even as bad as some of the other stuff looked, if any of them shot like they normally do we win.

Durant and Booker played 44 and 43 minutes. And we still lost against a majorly wounded Clippers team. And HCA went bye bye.

We’re playing too slow. I’m not saying we need to run and gun but the Suns have a better chance of scoring in transition than against a set defense.

There’s some series where we could get away with it…this isn’t one. Clips can throw the ball to Kawhi and seem to get a good shot. Meanwhile, KD and Book got 3 shots in the last 5 minutes.

Not panicking but we need to come out with a sense of urgency in game 2 and play Suns basketball.

Westbrook is an x-factor. You can’t account for the crap he does whether it’s positive or negative. His level of give-a-fuckedness is truly impressive even if his brain doesn’t work half the time. The Suns need to play their dogs like Okogie.

There's multiple times per game where you se Booker or Durant with 4 scrubs and you have to wonder what they are planning on offense.

A lot went wrong

However Durant pretty much being ignored for the second half of the 4th in a tight game is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen

How does that even happen

That’s on Chris Paul. He got in his feelings b/c of Westbrook and Mann. He should not have been dominating the ball down the stretch but he wanted to be the man. I think he’s smart enough to learn from it going forward.

The team does not have an identity.

That is the kindest way I can phrase it.

Monty admitted the team wasn't running their stuff. Wait wut?!!? That is on the coach. Ty Lue said post game that he was trying to get the Suns to make Craig beat them.

So, our head coach admits we were not playing our stuff and the other coach says he was messing with us...successfully.

Enough said.

What the Suns have not done well in recent years: come from behind to win against inferior and shorthanded opponents.

What the Suns have done well in the recent years: buy into their own hype and not live up to expectations.

Mike Bidwill is the most relieved valley resident, at least for a couple of days, because the Suns ineptness took the eyeballs off the Cardinals.
