Okay...someone types out a word and then associates it with a singer/band/song/album..etc... For example...

Eric Clapton=God

Okay... let's start....

It's just word association..... Sorry for the confusion on my part... I'm not completely with it today....

Anyways...off-topic here.... How was the Hanson concert? Did they play most of their new material and what was the average age of those in attendance?

Hey, thanks for asking. It was pretty awesome. My 3rd time seeing them live, but it was 4 years since I'd last seen them. They started with a cover song, "Optimistic" but I dont know who it's by. They played a good mix of songs from each of their 3 major released albums. Mmmbop, of course, was played. They played the 2 favorite songs of mine from their last album, too (Deeper and Get Up and Go).

I've been kind of critical of Taylor's voice as of late, but at the concert, he was dead on. Isaac showed a lot of passion behind the guitar, too. Unfortunately I didn't get to catch a guitar pick or drumstick ;) . They seemed a lil tired, though, which is prolly due to them having a concert in Vegas the night before. But they did play 19 songs. It was rockin.

As for the average age (not sure if this was serious or in jest) was about 17 to 18. There were lots of mom's with their daughters, but there was a good number of older folks who were genuine Hanson fans. They'd raise their drinks in the air and yell ISAAC! It was funny. Not that many small girls. We're all growing up, too, just like the band.

Overall, I enjoyed myself. Here's a pic of Zac during his solo:

These weren't the lyrics were they? *prays*
Flies are buzzing around my head
Vultures circling the dead
Picking up every last crumb
The big fish eat the little ones
The big fish eat the little ones
Not my problem give me some

You can try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
[x2]

This one's optimistic
This one went to market
This one just came out of the swamp
This one dropped a payload
Fodder for the animals
Living on an animal farm

If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
[x2]

I'd really like to help you man
I'd really like to help you man.....
Nervous messed up marionette
Floating around on a prison ship

If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
Dinosaurs roaming the earth [x3]

Alright I'm going to assume thats it, because I read before on a message board that Hanson, In fact, did a cover on the greatest band in the world. Radiohead. It's off of Kid A. I'm suprised you didn't know it was them, because in some earlier threads you said you liked Radiohead...

Yup, that was it. Thanks Brandon!

It sounded Radiohead-ish to me (with a Hanson flare of course!), but for some reason that didn't click. I don't own Kid A, so that's another reason why I didn't realize it. I only have 2 Radiohead CD's... this is a reason for me to buy more! :)

Does anyone have this song they could send to me (the Radiohead version?)
