Eh I somewhat take back my comment that the Cardinals have upgraded the overall talent level of the team.

That is very subjective and I have some pretty rose colored glasses. We will see, but I can't see how we can be worse.

I'm like you. I have a weakness for the Kool Aid. Both kinds. But dang every time I get on a players bandwagon something bad happens with him.

Beanie, has a terrible season in '10. Dan Williams and Duece, show up out of shape. Sturdivant, languishing at the bottom of the depth chart.

Meanwhile I post a Duckjake jinx take on Acho and now he's running with the first string.

It's just too strange.

my call is Fitz gets done and that's it. that's what I'm expecting. other FA? come on... you know they're going to let everyone else hit FA next year and then bring back the cheapest ones. It's how they've done business the last four years... it's how they've done business for years PERIOD.

It seems unless unless Wells runs for 1500 yards and 17 TD's he'll be seen as a disappointment. People think Williams is great and should be starting after 5 carries in a pre-season game. I don't get it. I guess Stevan Ridley from NE will be the league MVP. Williams may turn out great. Wells may also. I hope they both do. Wells showed great promise , then was hurt, we'll see what he does this year. I think he'll run for about 1100 and have 10 TD's., but i've been wrong before(but i've also been right before too :)).

I'd be thrilled with those numbers especially if he can finally get the hard couple of yards. I've been pushing for Williams more out of frustration with Beanie than anything else. He just doesn't look like the runner I saw in college. I like our 2nd round pick and believe he will do well in the NFL but he's never been THE guy, he's used to sharing the carries and if Beanie comes around we could have one heck of a RB situation.

Dunleavy didn't do it. He is terrible and always will be.

dunleavy's terrible and always will be terrible? He got the Lakers to the Finals after they hadn't been there the year before, he got the Blazers to two Conference Finals after that and then he took the worst franchise in all of sports and made them respectable for two years before the that franchise dismantled the entire team.

He put in an unused rookie to guard Raja Bell I believe who was on fire.

what's worse? making a bonehead move and putting in a rookie on one play of one game... or a coach trusting his entire season to Derek Anderson, Max Hall and John Skelton. i mean, the way he handled the QB position last year was one of the biggest blunders in team history... and that's saying something.

Jury's out on Wiz right now. I love the guy and support him, but at this point, it's kind of tough to say he's above a Dunleavy when making the Cardinals-Clippers comparison.
