If our defense isn't talented then there's only 4-5 talented defenses in the league. Our D is constantly dealing with no rest and bad field position. If we had this defense a few years back we'd have a championship(s).

you hold ur opponents away to 17 pts. This should be good enough.
it's the offence that did not show up

After what happened in this game, the ifrst thing you bring up is the 3rd best scoring defense in the league? We scored 3 points, 3!!

You really come off like you have zero knowledge of what is going on. This is just dumb

We lack a really talented and fast edge rusher ala Robert Quinn, Aldon Smith, Von Miller, ect. That is it. You put a freakish edge rusher opposite Acho and we are the best defense in the NFL.

Hmm, don't completely agree or disagree. Horton has to dial up pressure which leaves us somewhat vulnerable. If we had a natural individual pass rusher this d would be crazy. I'm underwhelmed with PP as a corner so far. I'm not saying he's bad. I'm just saying he's far from a lockdown corner. Revis he's not close to. I'm getting worried about our penchant to let up the big play. That said, the d still fairly throttled the rams. 17 points ain't bad. But the big plays in last two weeks have me worried.

Underwhelmed on PP? Really? You're kidding right?

They gave up 2 big plays in this game and that was all. They didn't allow the Rams to just move the ball up and down the field or anything like that. I will say that they appear to suddenly be vulnerable to big plays and that is a bit of a concern.

Over two years he's wracking up a large number of pass interference penalties and really hasn't been shutdown. I guess I'm just disappointed that he hasn't lived up to his reputation or my expectations (which admittedly may be too high).

I think PP's problem is largely that he isn't quite confident enough in his coverage ability to take his eye off the receiver to find the ball. There were a couple plays in this game that would have been picked if he was looking for the ball and one would likely have been a pick 6.

I have the same opinion. At least that's what it looks like.
