This loss falls squarely on the Coaches' shoulders.

If they actually thought they were going to get a struggling yet very Potent team like the Panthers after we thumped them in the Playoffs to just come in and lay down they were sorely mistaken.

Everyone of their key players dominated today and the staff should've known the Panthers were going to bring their A game today, not only for revenge, but to keep thier season alive.

To no be able to come home and motivate your team to take their division by the balls is absolutely inexcusable.

HTF is this team 1-3 at home? This is not acceptable...

False.

This loss goes squarely on the shoulders of Kurt Warner who failed to protect the football. Kurt missed reads, missed throws, and made poor decisions that wasted our defense only giving up two field goals after the Steve Smith TD in the second quarter. Any quarterback with our offensive personnel who can't produce 20 points in 2+ quarters should be blamed.

The coaches rallied the defense. They stayed with the run to avoid getting too one dimensional and putting too much pressure on Kurt. You could say that they contributed to the wasting of timeouts, but I think Warner burns those as much as they do. This was on Kurt, pure and simple.

While the coaches take some blame there is no way you can excuse the play of Kurt Warner today.

Everyone chill out. No one expected this team to go 16-0. Today's loss was disappointing, but I still expect to this team to make the playoffs and be a contender. After every single loss this year this board has gone nuts, blaming coaches, players, etc. Then the next week they bounce back and win and everyone is asking how come Whis' contract hasn't been extended yet. Today's loss was a bad loss just like last week was a great win. Hopefully this team just finds some balance and plays a little more consistent. There were a lot of positives to take away from todays loss, like how they stuck with the running game longer despite being down big, Well ran well again, the D looked much better in the second half and this team fought until the end.

Which one of the coaches turned the ball over 6 times?

....and missed tackle after tackle. This loss is sqarely on the the players. They weren't ready to play football and were man handled all day long. Some of Warner's turn overs weren't his fault but others were. The Panthers wanted it more and they came in and kicked our butts.

Why should I not be angry? This team failed to produce to the level they should and lost to an inferior team. Will this ruin my week...no. But to say that I should not hold the players/coaches/front office accountable when they take a dump like this...that is saying not to be a fan. What have the Arizona Cardinals done not to deserve the criticism that they are getting...nothing.

No th e team was playing from behind and needed big plays and chances tobe taken. Not crappy screens that accomplished nothing. Terrible egameplan and predictable result.

I didn't see us run a bunch of screens, but I could have failed to recognize them as we run them so poorly.

As far as us not making plays down the field...well when you play from behind it is much harder to. That is why the prevent defense is used like it was today. Carolina kept the safeties back, and bared us to drive down the field using check downs and underneath routes. This should have been to Kurt's advantage, but he failed to execute. This is why I blame the loss on Kurt. The Panthers played their safeties back once they go the lead, and opened up the middle for Kurt to use and he didn't.

Not true. Gandy was a disaster and the rst of the offensive line did not play great either. Warner was constantly pressured. That is not to say that this was one of his better games, but there are plenty of players to share the blame.

or the defensive players who got their asses handed to them for nearly 300 yards at the half!!!:bang:

Coaches can only motivate so much, players have to play & be ready to play each Sunday. Todays lack of enthusiasm & sleeping walking says alot about some of the characters on our team. :mulli: Coaches have some blame but the players truely lack testicles!!!

Souldn't the coaches already know the culprits? It is their JOB to motivate their players and properly prepare them for each game week to week.

Watching this game, its like the coaches threw out the playbook for success from their last few games...

This isn't High School football, it is Professional football. The players are responsible for getting themselves motivated for games, and that is why they get paid. It is the coaches job to put a scheme together and do the game planning. In the NFL the coaches are responsible for the players being prepared. The players are responsible for getting each other motivated and executing the game plan.

It also a players job to play the game!!! Coaches can only deliver the message of what to do so many times. Once or twice is a mistake, 4 or 5 times a year (the team) is a problem. Many of these guys lack the talent or lack the heart to be great!!!

Take your job for instance. If your boss shows you what to do & how to do it and you perform well for only 70% of the time, guess who's gonna be likey the 1st 2 go. It aint your boss. Time to get rid of some of these clowns.

You do realize everytime we went to the short passing game we scored and everytime we tried to go downfield we turned it over?

Not 100% of course but in this game the only way we scored was sustained drives moving the chains. everytime we tried to get a big play, it was a turnover.

I think he was referring to Kurt's picksix to Beanie that Peppers caught instead.

Somehow he's convinced that was a bad playcall and not just a bad throw and great play by peppers.

One INT was a screen to beanie after throwing about 200 screens or flat passes in a row. Id put that on the coaches.

Or how about, ugh I dunno, call some quick slants to the WR's. OR ANY PLAY that doesnt require 20 seconds in the pocket.....

The play calling is atrocious.

There was so much bad about this game trying to pin one scapegoat is ludicrous. All anyone is going to do is pick who they tended to think lowly of already.

We're just really lucky to lay turd like that and keep the lead in the division we had at the start of the day. Throw it out, don't even watch the film, and get ready for the Bears.

If you have a game or two like this, with all the letdown, you blame the players. If it becomes a trend, you blame the coaching. Coaches MUST have their teams prepared to play. You can blame players for slacking all you want, but if a team routinely takes games off it falls on the head coach. It is his job to maintain the team's focus and discipline. It's why players keep jobs and coaches get fired; far easier to fire a coach than to sack a whole team. Note that I am NOT talking about firing our coach. It's just pretty clear that Whis has not yet figured out how to maintain focus for this team going into trap games. Maybe he should take them to the movies or something :p
