This Needs To Be A Statement Game

At first glance this game looks like nothing more than a conference game but what it really needs to be is a statement game. Here are my reasons:

We Clinch The Division With A Win-This speaks for itself.

Potential Playoff Opponent-We could conceivably face them in the playoffs however unlikely. We need to show them who's boss.

We Could Wrap Up At Least The #2 Seed-If the Raiders can pull the upset over the Pack, this could be a bye clincher as well.

We Need To Shut The Naysayers Up-There are rumblings that we're starting to show chinks in the armor. The examples being given are that we've barely won our last 5 games which is true but what those people fail to recognize is that 3 of those games were against top NFC talent and 2 divisional opponents(and I hardly call winning 27-3 barely winning).

Show The Country We're For Real-We're getting a ton of respect but still, some feel even though we're 11-2 we're a paper tiger. We need to put those notions to rest.

Need To Break My Eagles Winning Streak-I've been to 4 Eagles games this season(2 pre-season and 2 regular season) and they're 4-0 with me in attendance. Need to rectify that.

So let's stomp some green!

11-2 is statement enough and who cares if for some it is not, winning by a large margin does nothing to improve ones chances at the Super Bowl and one does not get style points. No injuries and a win is what I want, winning by a large margin is just subject matter for the media and to pacify insecure fans... it seems every game for some has to be a statement game and what is stopping people from then thinking the remaining two against tough teams are not statement games, this is the NFL and you win on the road anyway you can
