Post them here. I'll do mine on Thursday. So far, Wally has smoked us all.

On the pick'em game, I'm fast gaining on the front runners.

Outright - michigan over Penn St. is the only one I'm feeling.

I do think South Carolina is going to give LSU a decent game. What the hell - South Carolina over LSU.

Hopefully you'll check in after the game to eat that giant plate of Nittany crow ;)

FWIW, I'd rather see Penn St. win. It just seems like a classic ambush type of a game. Penn St. hasn't been tested, and Michigan badly needs it restore some pride.

Our defense will eat them alive. Opponents are averaging nada on the ground against us, and that's all they have right now.

I'm an ASU fan, but I have to wonder about the 12.5 point spread. I fear OSU might just win this game outright. I know ASU's defense is not as good as its numbers, it's the kind of game Rudy Carpenter will have to put together some heroics to win. ASU will probably do better than OSU's D's 70 yard rushing average, but how much more? I think they'd have to double that number to make the offense churn and keep the defense off the field where they have a chance to make mistakes against OSU's very tender passing game.

Just not a great game to bet with the spread, and if I were betting, I'd take OSU and the points -- even in Tempe.

I'm pissed because I couldn't post all day, and I had Miami beating the Aggies in a close one. Never dreamed I'd turn on the tube and see Miami up by 31-0.

So here goes:

1. Notre Dame over Michigan State
2. Michigan over Penn State
3. Buffalo over Baylor
4. Georgia over Alabama
5. Kentucky over Arkansas
6. South Carolina over LSU

I like

Iowa over Wisconsin in Cheeseland

I don't consider Kentucky over Arkansas an upset, but I like Kentucky a lot. Kentucky scores at will. Arkansas won't keep up. It's a shootout.

Georgia over Alabama if Mark Richt opens up the playbook a bit more. They need to score.

If I have to pick 4, I kinda like North Carolina over U of S. Florida.

My biggest obstacle at success this week is all 4 teams are on the road.

If Arkansas can't beat Bama, I don't think Georgia is the team to do it.

Wally, the Iowa over Wisconsin pick tempted me too. Disagree with Carolina over South Florida.

Stout, many of the lousy Irish linemen say Michigan is more physical than Penn St and faster at most positions. They also think the Penn State QB is not very good. Consensus is the game may not even be close.

Of course, the opinions of a bunch of stinking, dumb-ass losers may not be worth much. If I had played as poorly as they have, I'd keep my mouth shut.

To me, the best team right now is Florida. LSU is not a legit top 5 team and I'm pretty sure Steve Spurrier will expose them, even if SC loses a close one. LSU is talent laden but coaching poor, I think.

I doubt SC has anywhere near the talent LSU has. Doesn't matter.

You're right. We're going to crush them. I'm sorry, but when you're starting a freshman QB, and Oregon destroyed you with their defense, then the Penn State defense, which is much, much better, will do even more damage. The only thing that might keep this game close is if our offense can't play at least average. The only thing that will give Michigan a prayer is if Moronelli plays at his absolute worst, instead of an at least average Morelli showing up to play.

I call Penn State by at least 14. Who's against me?

Stout, all the media are focused on blaming QB Clausen, bad Irish RBs, poor play calling by Weis, slow WRs, and various other reasons for the lack of Irish offense.

The real reason, or at least the biggest reason, is that the Irish have the single most incompetent offensive line in Irish history and in division 1 football right now.

Michigan's offensive line is very good, particularly at run blocking and will show Penn State's good defense to be an illusion.

Not only will you not win, you'll be thrashed by Michigan when Morelli is forced to throw to try to catch up.

Don't go getting all squirrelly on me now. :p I like Joepa and Penn State and dislike Carr and Michigan. Wish I saw the matchup differently.

Shouldn't the fault fall squarely on Weis's shoulders for poor recruiting?
Aren't all Willingham's boys gone and now it's Weis's recruits?
Am I wrong?

Wow, I never knew a person could be so completely wrong all at once ;)

Sorry, Skkorp, but like I said...PSU by at least 14. Do I smell a wager? If neither team wins by 14, it's a push. If PSU wins by 14 or more, you post a thread praising JoePa. If Michigan wins by 14, I'll post a thread about how JoePa is washed up

Is it a wager? Respond by gametime, please.

The only 2 dogs I picked this week are Georgia and South Carolina.

Michigan sucks and this will be Carr's last year. Penn State by 14 sounds right.

Weis' two recruiting classes have been excellent. Verbals for next year's class are outstanding. Contrary to media reports, there is no shortage of talent in South Bend, it's just all young.

The coach is always responsible for how a team performs. This is on Weis. He'll fix it eventually.

Willingham won with Bob Davie's recruits and lost with his own.

Stout, if you win, I'll gladly post praising Joepa. But if I win, no need to jump on Paterno.

He's one of the best coaches of all time and ran a clean and honest program the entire time.

Nice call Skkorp!

I kind of feel bad for all the PSU fans who thought that PSU was gonna do something this year.
Maybe next year.

Hey, I called it first! :p

Yeah, I feel the same way about it. I'd rather Penn St. won, but everything seemed lined up for an upset. Even the fact that Henne was out made it even more of an ambush game IMO, because Hart is the key player anyhow.

Too bad Stout. Hope you get them next year.
