Michigan State basketball survived a round of 32 contest against New Mexico on Sunday night, 71-63, punching their ticket to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 for a matchup against the No. 6 seeded Ole Miss Rebels on Friday.

While the Spartans and Rebels do not have an extensive history against one another, Tom Izzo and Ole Miss head coach Chris Beard have had battles over the years.

Fans will not have to wait long on Friday for the Spartans and Rebels to clash, as the two teams have drawn the opening game of the night. The start time is set for 7:09 ET and will be aired on CBS with Ian Eagle, Bill Raftery and Grant Hill on the broadcast.
