Titans got quite a haul
If we had #1 I would be happy with the trade

I think the bigger unknown is Goff, Wentz played in a pro style offense IMO his biggest weakness is he tends to hold on to the ball in the pocket waiting for a play to develop.
I'm a pac 12 guy and usually I would side with the guy from that conference but IMO it's become the hardest conference to evaluate QB play with all the spread offense they play.

I would argue that you haven't really seen a team make a blockbuster trade like this in the NFL and have success (or if it has happened, it isn't the norm).
I agree that QB has been a major issue with the Rams, but they are giving up a lot of the capital that will be used to replace veterans with quality, young talent.
And as I pointed out, there are MANY ways to acquire a good QB, teams just have to take their opportunities. Trading up a few years ago and taking Derek Carr would've been one of them for the Rams.
I think from my years of watching football, that if you don't currently have an elite QB, you don't stop trying to get one, but you can't overpay. The Rams settled on Bradford for way too long, and didn't bring in a credible competitor even as Bradford struggled through injury and poor play. It reminds me of the Jake Plummer years, or the years the Cardinals passed on guys like Aaron Rodgers because they had an adequate starter.
I just will NEVER argue that you give up 6 picks to have the outside chance at a franchise QB.

This is wrong. Wentz is coming from a backgroud of facing inferior talent, playing indoors, and from a run based offense. He has never been asked to throw a team from behind. He has never been asked to win a game on his arm. He wasn't highly recruited out of high school. This doesn't mean he can't be successful, but the only advantage he has over Goff is that Wentz has a larger physical frame. That is it.
Goff has everything you want out of a QB prospect other than weighing 215 and having a top 10 NFL arm. Everything else is rock solid, especially with what college football is offering up year after year.
The best part is we can agree to disagree you just made all my arguments for me avg arm he has a quick release so he gets away with it at the college level does it translate skinny how will he hold up, and that's not even bringing up the Call offense effect. I take Wentz if I'm the Rams

Yep
Quick...name 1 QB out of that Tech offense who's ever been anything in the NFL?
Do you mean Cal? Aaron Rodgers comes to mind.
No it's the Texas Tech offense since that's where he learned his craft & coached there for years.
That's where you lost me. What coach? I'm assuming NOW you mean the Cal coach, but we were talking QBs and their names, and the coach's name never came up.

Crazy that folks trust a player who has only attempted 612 passes in his college career vs FCS competition rather than a player who attempted 1568 passes vs FBS teams and in the Pac 12.
I'm not going to argue that Wentz cant' work, but to argue that he comes with less risk than Goff is silly.

TJ, Bucky, Oaken, it was a simple misunderstanding because Bucky made a confusing statement and I confused it by thinking he meant something else. It's all sorted out now, no worries
