He's likely done for the year because not likely put on IR
Your saying he's probably done for the year because we won't put him on IR? If he's done for the year that's the first thing we would do

This hurts...just when we finally saw a guy return the ball with passion and skill.

Plan B, imo, would be to have Kerwynn return kickoffs and Jeremy Ross or Brittan Golden return punts.

Says who and based on what?

We don't have a clue as to the extent of the injury, nor the procedure required, healing or rehabilitation time.
I agree. Out for the year is a little dramatic. Depending on the severity, he should be healed up in 6 - 8 weeks if it was only a fracture. If its a compound, double it.

all IR players can return now, you dont have to designate them right when they go on anymore, you just are only allowed to bring one of them back. (or is it two now?)

"Dislocated bone" does not sound like a break. Hopefully, the recovery is fast. Judging by last night, we definitely need him on KO return.
Have to wait and see!

What a shame. He looks explosive and he really wants to return the kicks. Unlike some others we have. PP & AE come to mind.

My infamous buddy who's an orthopod at Mayo said dislocated bone is pretty rough.

"Usually 8-12 weeks after surgery but who knows with these guys."

If I'm the kid... and and team, thinking about my long term future, might be best to shut him down so he can fully heal. He's a sixth round pick, not a first rounder. Seems like a big risk for a guy who didn't get a lot of upfront money to try and come back from.

Jeremy Ross gets my vote to replace Logan. He's done it before pretty successfully and can hold down that position until Logan gets back.

I did my own research and saw 8-12 week estimate for recovery/rehab after wrist surgery from this injury. @cheesebeef 's Mayo Clinic buddy makes me feel good about that.

Anyways,

That would put timetable around Mid to Late October. If he is IR'd.. he's not eligible for return until he's been IR for 6 weeks.

Has Brandon Williams been tried as a punt returner?

U eager to find him a role :D

Some posters are already calling him a bust so let's see if he can contribute in other ways. ;)

He used to be a running back.
