I wish him back sooner

They can do like the NHL does and have so many on the roster and have scratches, healthy or otherwise.all the salaries do not count against the cap anyway. They can keep cap counts as they are,...increase rosters to 60,..and increase game day rosters to 53... the bottom of the roster will just fill out with minimum deal players.
Special teams punt and kick return suck again
I can already here Wolfly...Peterson calls for the fair catch AGAIN.
The size of the roster and the amount of players they allow to suit up for such a contact sport is a joke... teams should be allotted more on their roster in my opinion
If the NFL is a product, you want to offer the best quality product you can and allowing a larger roster and more active players would clearly offer the fans the best productIt always boggled my mind why any players are inactive come game day. You are paying them to sit which makes no sense at all. That would be like you getting hired by a company and then they have to have you do nothing because they can only have "X" number of people working on an active project at one time. It's the only sport I know of besides soccer (at the professional level only) where you have to name so many players as available and the rest are not.

This hurts...just when we finally saw a guy return the ball with passion and skill.
That would be HEEEEY HEEEEEY HEEEY!
Rerun always said Hey! Hey! Hey! (Read quickly).
Hope they don't keep him out for the season. Love watching him return kicks.
Yep, and now he is hurt.
And this is why I do not agree with sending guys under 200lbs running like maniacs into 220lbs+ men. This is the NFL. These are grown adults. You gotta play smart.
I 100% agree, with the small showing that TJ Logan gave, he was going to be the teams best guy to return kicks and punts. He played with real passion, but I question him looking for contact at the end of a run like he did. Why not cut to the outside and use your speed ? That is his game. You man, Billy B. would be the first to tell Logan that power is not his game, and he should have use his quickness.
Now potentially the Cardinals best return man is hurt, thus is currently our worst return man, because he is hurt, injured and on IR. Now he is not helping anyone, and mostly has hurt himself.
Now imagine if the Cardinals had Patrick Peterson out there, and he got hurt, looking to make 2 extra yards by looking for contact ? Season over.
There is a fine line between toughness/power football, and just being stupid. TJ Logan is a young player, trying to make a roster spot, so he was doing what he thought was the best way to go about making the team. But, if he was not drafted this year, he would probably be going home with an injury settlement.
He will learn how to protect himself, and choose the spots where it is wise to take the risk, and lower the shoulder..........or for example, when Larry Fitzgerald decides to cut it back from the sidelines in a playoff game, and win the game in OT.
Leave the role of slamming into the line of scrimmage or playing power football, to the Elijiah Penny's of the NFL.
The is the NFL. These are professionals. You have to play the game as a professional.
I take it that you know that his injury had nothing to do with returning kicks.
Yup, it was running the ball, but the hit that he got hurt on was in the open field.
He jammed his wrist on a block.

It was unclear when it happened while watching the game... I remember seeing him clutching his wrist after a rough collision pass blocking (which is why I think most people thought it happened then). If an article on the Cards site said it happened in the run then they're probably right.I may have misread. I thought it was on the receiving end of a hit ?

"But his last run of the night could be costly. After breaking off a 16-yard gain Logan had a huge collision with Cowboys safety Jameill Showers, and Logan hurt his wrist on the play."
That is where I got that from.....but I very well may have missed where that was corrected later.

Regardless, my point is that guy is not a big running back. He will have to learn to pick his places to take his hits if he wants to stay healthy. Keep in mind, when I played contact sports, my role was to be physical, and hit people....hard as I can.
I understand what it does to an opponent, and why it needs to be done, but again, we are talking about a 295lbs man. My body, at least at that time LOL, could take the beating. That way I could make hit, after hit, after hit.
The 180lbs guy that ran like the wind, he cannot take hit, after hit, after hit. His role was to take the ball and run, and run, and run it again. If he hurt himself, well, there goes the guy that can run, and now we have no one for that role.
TJ Logan looks to be a great talent for returning the ball, but the Cardinals need him to do it for 16 games. I will take twenty 5 to 15 yard returns where he goes out of bonds, or hits the dirt when nothing is there, over 1 or 2 returns where he gains any extra few yards, or even breaks one, but gets hurt and is out for most the season.
Everyone loves to pile on and rip on Andre Ellington, a small back whose career has been destroyed by injury, and then they wonder why he makes the decisions to avoid contact. At the time he was the top back, and the Cardinals needed him to stay healthy, thus not take the beating.
Yes, now is a different time for Ellington, he has to take the risks and put his body on the line because he now may lose his job because he is not good enough, and not because of injury.
It is a fine line, but that is why these are professionals, they are paid to make a living balancing these "fine lines".
Perfect example is Larry Fitzgearld, who knows when to take a hit, and when to go out of bounds and live for the next play.
A latter round rookie, looking for job, is going to try to impress and take a few extra chances in doing so. This kid can't be compared at this point with a top 5 pick who had little to worry about in his first camp and is heading to the HOF. If things work out, he'll be making business decisions in the not too distant.
P.S. his hand injury was definitely in pass pro.
Agreed. Said as much in my first post, "TJ Logan is a young player, trying to make a roster spot, so he was doing what he thought was the best way to go about making the team."
But, he is also lucky that he is a draft pick. Look no further than Ronald Zamort. From starter to a guy off the roster with an injury settlement.
Tell it to Urban. Haven't read or heard that from anywhere accept this board, and regardless I still stand by my point.
I saw his reaction with my own two eyes and saw it again when I reviewed the tape. Did he aggravate something that occurred earlier, I don't know.
