We should have dealt his ass years ago. That was blatantly obvious to anyone not drunk on the Kool-Aid.
I wasn’t drinking the kool-aid, just didn’t think we could find anyone better in FA. I still don’t get how nobody is picking on our CB’s. Just weird.

I was at the game today, thanks to work, and I will say there were just as many terrible towels as there were Vikings fans. Some teams just travel well.. It was a fun game and I was super pumped when the Vikings slowly let the Steelers come back into the game and all the Vikings fans told me that they do this every game. They know what we go though and it was nice to see other fans go through it.

have to admit, his “leadership” was probably a detriment to the team. young guys seeing a “Captain” give half-a** effort to tackle and sacrifice for the team probably crippled the team.

And yet everyone who dared say that while he was still on the team got crucified by 90% of the board.

The all-time record for one-possession games (meaning games decided by 8 points or less) in a season is 14, set by the 1994 Giants and tied by the 2015 Ravens. The 2021 Vikings have already have 12 one-possession games, with four more games to play this season.

61 points from Cook sitting on my bench! Not the worst I've ever done the game where Corey Dillon broke the NFL rushing record for a game, I had him on my bench.

I think part of the leadership drive by the front office was a direct slap in the face to leaders here last year.

Fitz and Peterson.

Fitz for being the non-vocal lead by example guy and Peterson for not being accountable.

Peterson has been a festering turd in the locker room. His blaming others for his mistakes or general defensive mistakes is not what leaders do.

i think it was two things on P2

i dont think P2 as a bad guy necessarily, but that as one of the longest tenured and highest paid guys -- probably forced other guys like Budda to defer.

also: P2 wasnt good in zone and tackling was a part of it. He just isnt good at it --- Cards are playing lots more zone this year with positive results. Vance / Keim recognized that last year.

Fitz would slap the **** out of Claypool. What an idiot.

No he wouldn’t have. We’ve had players make some awful stupid boneheaded mistakes over the years Including Floyd. That’s not Fitz and never was. You would never see him in anyones face unless it was a celebration. Revisionist history there. Fitz was a quiet do as I do guy and nothing more. And that’s ok.

It is ok, until you need vocal locker room leaders.

Thats been Watts biggest addition, being a voice in the locker room.
