The whole thing is terrible. Claypool shouldn't have done what he did, but for Ben to say it's not my job to correct him I don't buy either you're the QB and the veteran player on the team, yes it is your job to hold guys accountable. Ultimately it's on the coach but come on you do that with Brady or Rodgers or Kurt Warner etc they're going to let you know about it.

I really do think the Steelers have just sort of bagged it for the season

Being a ND fan, I really do like Claypool. But, that was a brain fart indeed. Too hectic at the time for Ben to light him up, and after the game was not the time to call out the kid. I’d be willing to bet that Claypool did get chastised afterwards behind closed doors.
