You guys are hating on someone for being emotional about one of the most momentous days of his life? It doesn't matter if he's a billionaire or a dollar-menunaire. He's a human being.

I am straight hatin' and completely admit to it.

But, hey, who cares about his emotions, and entitlements because he is a "human being".

If the lockout teaches us anything, the human elements of the game don't matter. It is all about money. He has money, and no one cares about what his thoughts are on anything but football.

So he can shut up and go practice, so that his fans get the most out of what they are paying for.

Practice? He has been the Pats' offense for about 10 years? Practice? What good would it do for him to go practice in April? Who would he practice with?

I blame ESPN, and I blame the people who still watch ESPN.

I think he does that, no? He's given Pats fans more than their money's worth over the years.

Agreed. 100%.

I am not a Pats fan so I do not know how well they are statisfied with the product they pay for.

I would be happy if the Cardinals we that successful.

And Here's the Tom Brady quote that makes me want to punch him.. Said while weeping, after reflecting on finally being drafted>> "I dont have to be an insurance salesman ya know"

:mad::bang::pullhair:

This really caught my attention. There are so many people out there, fans that do mundane jobs, who pay is salary. And there he is crying about not having to be an ordinary person like being an "insurance salesman."

He had pretty much worked his whole life to play football. He wanted to continue to play football. He had almost lost his shot to play in the NFL. That makes him different than "an ordinary person" who become an insurance saleman.

Ya, after I watched (I mean force fed) that commercial all day that day, that quote really stuck out to me too.. Brady is a loser..

I still cant believe he doesnt realize he fell into an ideal situation.. Instead he crys about it.. Guess the emotional stress of him possibly having to do an ordinary job everyday American job really stirred him up.. Poor Brady..

I don't think you understand what he's emotional about, or even the emotions that are being felt.

Sorry.. I really dont care to delve into another mans emotions.. As it is right now, I feel violated that ESPN exposed me to this much of his emotions..

And if we did, we'd have not one but two QB's that wouldnt be worth a crap.. Brady wouldnt be Brady anywhere else besides in Billicheck's system.. Hence, why I said why cant he realize he fell into an ideal situation..

Yeah... Brady should've thought about all those 22 year-olds in America--and the 6 and 10 year olds, as well--who grow up thinking that they want to be insurance salesmen.

As someone who really, really loves his job, I can say that I'd much rather be playing quarterback in the NFL. If I had to wait two days to find out what my future was, it'd be excruciating and emotional for me as well.

I'm not saying Brady isn't a product of the system. I'm saying Brady isn't emotional about going to the Pats; he's not ignorant to the fact that it ultimately worked out for him. That's not what his tears are about--at all.

You're right, it's entirely possible that he may have been better. Look at the crap talent that surrounded him during the SB years, and how many of those guys have had success outside of playing with Brady. You clearly hate the guy, and your football analysis of him is laughable.

Warner took the Cards to the Super Bowl, but Brady couldn't?

Bet that Fitz would disagree.

considering how awful-mediocre Belichek's system was in Cleveland/NE with Bledsoe, it's pretty hard to say Brady would suck anywhere else.

and before you bring up BUT MATT CASSEL!! Dude was just a Pro-Bowler on another team that didn't run Belichek's system, proving that Cassel is just a decent quarterback.

I dont see how it could be said for me.. I started the thread.. that was the weird comment of the day by yourself..

And you know what his tears were about because??? I didnt watch the damn show because ESPN's man love for him as driven me over the edge.. I cant stand Brady anymore, at all..

Thing of it is.. I have my opinion of Brady, and dont really give two craps about what you think of my opinion.. Go get a job at ESPN and at least get paid for your Brady man love.. Cuz as it is right now, your doing it for free, when clearly there is a major media outlet paying people to do what your doing..

Was it the same system in CLE that it is in NE? I dont know.. Are you sure it is? Are you confident he didnt learn something from the CLE situation and tweaked some things? These are honest questions..

It doesnt matter anyways.. The Brady man love by the media is sickening..
