Please dont down play my role as just some guy that hates Brady.. I one day hope to be President of the Brady Hate Club.. :D

Ha, I realize that, but I think it clearly clouds your judgement. What he was able to do with the guys around him is truly amazing. Compare the talent around Brady to the talent around Manning, and it's even more striking that Brady has 3 rings, to Peyton's 1.

Was it the same system in CLE that it is in NE? I dont know.. Are you sure it is? Are you confident he didnt learn something from the CLE situation and tweaked some things? These are honest questions..

It doesnt matter anyways.. The Brady man love by the media is sickening..[/QUOTE]

Ok... we get it.

Deep down you think he's cute, and you're just having a hard time with the feelings, the emotions.

Admit it... face it... you'll feel better, and none of us will lose any respect for you or giggle behind your back.

Promise! ;)

I dont see how it could be said for me.. I started the thread.. that was the weird comment of the day by yourself..
Sorry.. I really dont care to delve into another mans emotions..

And you know what his tears were about because???
Because I followed the interview and used plain ol human empathy to understand what he was saying.

Go get a job at ESPN and at least get paid for your Brady man love.. Cuz as it is right now, your doing it for free, when clearly there is a major media outlet paying people to do what your doing..
Really? I haven't said a word one way or the other about Brady the football player or Brady the person. Everything I've said has been in defense of a man who's showed emotion in an interview. It's not a crime, and it's not about getting drafted by the Patriots.

i don't know, but i know that when belicheck had Drew Bledsoe in his system in NE they were awful so even if he made tweaks between Cleveland and NE, he still had very little success until Brady stepped on the field.

Still its hard to discount Cassell going from 63.4% completion rate and 10-5 as a starter to 55% and 4-11 with KC just a year later.

Who cares though? NE sucks. If we'd played them in a game that actually meant something with Warner, Fitz and Boldin we'd have beat them 47-7!

:koolaid:

The only reason NE ever got to the SB is they had home field in the friggin' snow and sleet during the playoffs.

They got lucky to play the Panthers in the SB in 2003. A Carolina team that had to score 10 points in the 4th quarter to beat Arizona. The 2003 Cardinals mind you. One of the worst rosters ever assembled by an NFL team.

And then got the Eagles who were making a habit of losing Championship games. When NE finally played a real team in the SB they got their 18-0 butz kicked.

:D

Odds are against it. The Cards had the #1 passing offense in the NFL in 2005 and finished 5-11. Last season the Cards had the 31st ranked passing offense in the NFL and finished 5-11.

Brady would have quit to become an insurance salesman if he had had to play for the Cards from 2001-2003.

it's not hard to discount Cassel when you realize that the next year, with some added weapons and some time to get used to his new team, the guy put up 58.2 completion rate... 93 passer rating, 27:7 ratio and a 10-5 record with a Chiefs team that had been bad forever.

dude basically did the exact same thing with the Chiefs that he did with the Pats.

Sure but it took him two seasons. He just walked off the bench with his 32.7 QB rating in NE and did it.

Besides MC had a former Longhorn running for 6.4ypc and catching 45 passes MC's 2nd season in KC. :p

Well according to most posters on this board Warner did it single handedly.

We lost a ton of veteran talent and went from one of the best teams in the NFL to one of the worst in just one season. But according to ASFN, except for Warner, it was good riddance to everyone else that is now playing elsewhere.

Again, Brady would have been out of the NFL by now if he had been the QB on the 2001-2003 Cardinal teams. They were some of the worst teams ever put on the field by an NFL franchise.

Brady would have taken one look at the defensive line of Fred Wakefield, Jabari Issa, Russel Davis, and Barron Tanner and been on the phone to Prudential.

But even if that didn't do it the next season TB would have looked at Jason Starkey, Rahleigh Roundtree and Chris Disman starting on the Oline and called Met Life. Never mind that the first 5 WRs on the team in 2002 got hurt and missed most of the season. The leading WR had 400 yards!

Now if he'd made it to 2003 he might have been more apt to stick around with Q and then the next season with the drafting of Fitzgerald but our boys would have never put up with Brady long enough for that combo to ever get on the field together.

Heck the Cards didn't even give Warner 2 seasons before taking a QB with the #10 pick in the draft.

The Cards are almost as dysfunctional as my golf game.

Appearently I need to start bashing on the Cardinals and its players.. That way I can fit in around here and not get such a big backlash.. All these monster woodys for Brady is appalling.. At least I hate on other teams and not my own..

You guys are hating on someone for being emotional about one of the most momentous days of his life? It doesn't matter if he's a billionaire or a dollar-menunaire. He's a human being; he's entitled to his feelings. He's not asking you to feel sorry for him.

Jeesh. The draft can't come soon enough.

No kidding.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I'm not going to blame him for being ultra-competitive and still being emotional about the chance that he might have missed the opportunity to work towards being a champion. Might be part of the reason why he has a number of rings...

Being irritated by the media overload is fine, but I don't have a problem with this. I don't want to be an insurance salesman either--and it has nothing to do with all the satisfied insurance salesmen out there who probably make more money than me.

Well the 2001-2003 seasons made a lot of people want to cry. OK not a lot.
Weren't too many Cardinal fans in those days.

Never forget the incredulous reaction of the Atlanta players, after they came back onto the field after warmups, to an almost empty Sun Devil in 2001. They were just milling around midfield staring up at the empty seats.

The attendance at that game?... 23,790!

I was there though. The weekend of the first and only Azprosports Golf tournament where I had the good fortune to meet Rats and Slanidrac and Bob Chebet among others.

Not personal at all, dude. Just like to point out ridiculous opinions when they get bandied about.

Watching it now. Pretty interesting stuff there, I think. And I am by no means a Tom Brady fan.

Yeah... after actually watching the program, I didn't walk away impressed exactly, but interesting. It was funny that Brian Billick didn't remember Spyrgon Wynn after apparently coaching him for a year at Wisconsin or somewhere.

Thankfully, the Brady piece previewed wasn't anything but the final five minutes. The pieces looking at the other draft picks were pretty interesting.

Yeah, very brief.

I liked that it wasn't just a Tom Brady piece either. They explained a lot about him at the college level and the other QBs that went before him in the draft. I really kinda enjoyed it. Still don't like Tom Brady though.
