26 of 28, 3 TDs, 0 Ints. 141 QB rating. In New England in January.

Wow.

I don't know where to rank him among all time QBs but he already has 3 SB rings. Just sick.

I know where to rank him. #1 of all time.

Might not even be close. 50 TD season. Lead greatest offense ever. 16-0. MVP. and on his way to his fourth title.

This is before you take into account that he already has three rings and two Super Bowl MVP's.

Who else is even in the discussion?

Marino? No rings
Elway? 2 rings but no where near the numbers
Montana? Close with rings (4) but no where near the numbers
Favre? Maybe if he takes a ring from Brady this year - but thats not likely.
Peyton Manning? Even if he beats Brady next week - its not even close.

Brady = Greatest QB of all time.

There is one thing those guys don't have that the Pats have as well ...

Being caught cheating, is why I hate the patriots and everything to do with them.

BB should have been suspended this year.

eh, the only part that i'll agree with is the "caught" part. i think in the biz these days they all cheat. just like politics, sports is dirty. unfortunately.

Yes, they were caught cheating. And I have no rooting interest in the Pats. In fact, I have a wager with Shane (that I am in danger of losing) that the Pats won't make the Super Bowl.

But you cannot Spycam 26-28 passing. Tom Brady deserves his props for this. I just appreciate an outstanding NFL performance.

I'm no Pats fan - but your just hating.

No need to have sour grapes. Be happy you are alive to watch greatness live.

Not to mention that a good amount of his incompletions were right on the money and were simply dropped by the receiver like Welker did tonight and Moss did vs the Giants.

Thats is true but I can't get past the cheating, the love feast and the biased officiating to give them an edge.

Would be funny in the SB if it is Felons and Pats. Who would the refs be biased for ?

Key word there is caught. It makes a very big assumption that the patriots are the only team doing it. In fact it appears the Jets who accused them of doing it did it to them the year before. Don't be naive. I won't say all teams have done things as bad as the Patriots did, or that it was ok, because it wasn't, but if you hate the Patriots because of cheating then I would guess you should hate over half of the teams. It's the sad nature of professional sports these days.

Yes I've heard some say that they just got caught.

Personally I don't believe it but it doesn't matter. They should have slammed them to set an example.

Not to take away from Brady, but I was really impressed with David Gerrard. If Northcutt caught that ball down at the goal line we could be talking about a different ball game right now.

They did get slammed. They lost their first round draft pick and we're fined a total of $750K between the team and Belichick.

The punishment more than fit the crime, since what they were caught doing had absolutely zero impact on their season. The camera was confiscated a few plays into the first quarter of the first game, before they even had a chance to review anything that was on it. They didn't have any opportunity to gain an unfair advantage.

The league's response was more than sufficient. Don't let personal emotions get in the way of the facts.

Best QB of the modern era? Hard to argue with. Best QB ever? NO! That would be....drumroll please...

Otto Graham

In the era of football where the run reigned supreme, this is what Otto Graham did:

He compiled a whopping 105-17-4 record with the Browns in his career. IN TEN SEASONS. His team made the championship game EVERY YEAR, and won SEVEN CHAMPIONSHIPS. He had a career QB rating of over 85...when his career went from 1946 to 1955. He threw for 174 TDs in that era, or 17.4 a season IN THE FORTIES AND FIFTIES. He threw for 364 yards in his NFL debut. I cannot find the stats on this, but I saw in a special that he had a cazy number of 300 yd passing games.

I say Otto Graham is the best QB ever.

Nomination for dumbest statement of the week;

"The only person not blown away by Brady's dart-throwing exhibition -- it established the all-time record for completion percentage, postseason and regular season -- was Jaguars rookie cornerback Reggie Nelson. Becoming the latest dummy to take shots at New England, Nelson said, ``Anyone can go 26 of 28 in a dropdown game.''

We don't appreciate Brady enough

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Shame on us. We pay more attention to Tony Romo's dalliances with Jessica Simpson than we do on the unfailing greatness of Tom Brady. A Saturday night in New England reminded us of a truth that somehow is underplayed in this quirky land of ours: Brady is the hottest thing going in team sports, mainly because he's also the coolest thing going in team sports.....

We can hope that Grimm will eventually get our offensive line to provide pass protection like the Patriots did last night.

I wasn't impressed with the Jags defense at all; expecting a team with their record to have a better D.

The never blitzed... They tried the slow-bleed angle rather than choose to die quickly... They waited for the perfect team and the perfect QB to make a mistake - and they didn't... Oooops....

Brady is just a system QB.

I completely agree.

I think I was counting to 200 everytime the guy dropped back to pass. He got hurried/sacked once.

How about New England's OL is the best of all time. I can buy that.

And since I am hating on the Pats, do they every call anything on the Pats unless it is a personal foul on Harrison, cause I guess holding doesn't apply to them.

I saw some plays that if the Cardinals were out there every ref would have thrown a flag and went in the back to get more to throw on the ground.

That all being said.

The Pats are scary good. :) And there is no denying it.

Thank you! Jack Del Rio is an idiot and a pvssy. The Jacksonville offense was slicing through NE like butter and Del Rio coached scared. Any team that's pissing it's pants just to be on the same field as the Patriots deserves to lose. Total waste of a playoff spot. Brady deserves credit for taking what the defense would give, but when the defense hands you their wife, the car, bank account number and keys to the house...it's not really that iimpressive. The Pat's o-line was more impressive than Brady standing there for 10 seconds every time he dropped back, picking and choosing which wide open receiver he'd throw to. The TD to Watson and the pass down the sideline to Stallworth were nice. Everything else? Cassel could have done it. Garrard's night was more impressive to me. At least he was facing a defense that was trying to win and not just sitting back and waiting for the offense to make a mistake. God, Del Rio's an idiot. His job was on the line before this season started and he should be fired now. Pitiful.

Still, it's all going to be for naught when they lose to Indianapolis next week.

Won't happen.

A Cowboys-Patriots SuperBowl is the worst thing that could happen for me.

Therefore it is a lock that we'll see a New England-Dallas SuperBowl.

I said it 3 years ago, and I'll say it again: when it's all said and done, Brady will be an all-time top 5 QB, maybe even top 3.
