For those of us in Los Angeles it appears that we’ll be able to watch the game tonight. The Official Lakers website www.nba.com/lakers/ is indicating that the game will be on KCAL. And on Radio: KLAC-AM 570/KWKW-AM 1330.

Let’s hope that the info is accurate. Has anyone heard otherwise?

That was in the paper as well. Channel 9!! Woohoo! Even if it is Paul Sunderland and Stu Lance.

Stu Lantz is the worst commentator I have ever heard. He reminds me a little of Eddie Johnson but his ramblings are much more incoherent

I only got a chance to watch the second half, but here are some impressions:

• We were more agressive on defense than what had been described in the past, but if the Suns gave up 100 points to a Shaqless Kobeless Laker team I would have given up.

• Marion was a little sloppy, but overall played pretty well.

•Amare is looking good. His stats weren't astounding tonight but he had some great moves and a couple of outstanding blocks.

• Marbury seems like he's taking it easy for the preseason.

• Joe Johnson has a pretty good attitude and stroke about him.

My observations:
1) Defense was awful in the first, but got better.
2) DeMarr Johnson played okay, but doesn't look like he'll be doing much this year. He needs to add 30 lbs.
3) Joe Johnson looked great in the first half
4) Casey Jacobson looked like an NBA player (against Laker scrubs)
5) Barbosa plays great defense and can distribute the ball well enough
6) Archibald looked decent, or at least better than Koturovic/Sheppard
