Offense looks so much better with Canaan. I really like Bender and Len lately.

The second unit looks like they know what they are doing. I wish I could say this for the first unit.

I may be in the minority but I would really like for the Suns to keep Len and add some shooting around him.

I’m fine with keeping Len, I’d prefer it if he doesn’t command an unreasonable salary, but I’m not sure about building around him. The team does need shooters but his role as is should be how it stays, other than extending the playing time he gets. I think part of the issue with him before was the team asked him to do too much. He seems to be doing really well now that Triano has told him to focus on rebounding and scoring inside. He may be capable of doing more on the court but I'm not sure he should be asked to do more at this point. Let him keep playing how he is.

I agree with you. Triano is getting more out of Len than anyone thought he was capable of. He is having him do the things he can do. Rebound, score inside, challenge shots, and that's it.

I'm not so sure the Suns build around Len but I like the way he anchors the middle. IMO, he should get better.

As you note, salary will be an issue. The game needed to get simpler for him and it has. I'm not so sure he cannot hit the outside shot as he builds his game. Len started the game late.

Looking at how awful Memphis is, wondering if Gasol goes on the block at some point. Maybe Cleveland makes a move for him? Or the Rockets? He could spread the floor while being a solid defensive big for DA.

Just seems totally wasted on that team.

I like Len’s aggressive rebounding. He’s even ripping it out of teammates hands. I like that. It means he is so focused on the ball that he is not noticing who else is after it.

Yep. Starting to play with a little more control.

EJ would make a good individual development coach.

I agree about the control part.

It's EJ that I'm not sure about. :)

Yeah, not sure how good EJ would be in that role, but man, would I love to go drinking with that dude!

I'm watching the UA game right now and a few minutes ago they showed Sarver sitting with Fitz. He was texting someone on a flip phone. Dude is a billionaire and uses technology from a decade ago?

He has a guaranteed salary of $24,119,025 next season and a player option for a third season. It's amazing how playoff teams can make room for these players.

D'oh! I read that wrong. I wasn't thinking straight, I know I wrote "Brooks" but I definitely didn't read or process that name correctly at all.

My first thought was Mel Brooks. LOL

Canaan with back-to-back 3's

He now has 10 points, 3 assists, 2 steals and 0 turnovers.

Didn't the Suns trade a first round pick for Brandan Wright?

I'm not sure what happened to the pick or if it turned into two second round picks.

This would be a good tank loss, not sure how I'm rooting to end the game

It looks like Canaan will replace Ulis for the final 2:43.

Jackson is everywhere keeping the Suns close. The Grizzlies lead by 1 with 36.6 seconds left.
