No acquisitions. I heard they talked Ertz, but I don’t see anyone buying an injured player. They’ve had inquiries about Baker & Brown, but the ask is steep. They see those guys as building blocks. Brown has worked very hard and would have had a much bigger year with a real QB.

We need more Ojulari. Not giving him snaps in a dead year makes no sense.

Zaven Collins has a similar vibe to Jamie Collins. Similar testing, positional flexibility between off ball linebacker and edge rusher. Jamie Obvs played on a better team but he went for a 3rd at the deadline in his 4th year. And that was a very high 3rd.

I think a late 3rd or early 4th is achievable.
I've been hard on the kid but I couldn't agree more. He's not going to get better from the bench. He still didn't look good, but he managed a sack today, so that's progress. Collins is going to be a nonentity for us.

Missed opportunity if true but whatever.

Personally I wished they would have moved him back to ILB next to White and kept Sanders. Still baffles me that someone like Jesse Luketa was kept over someone like Sanders. Reddick was a bit unique as he dominated at edge (and still is now) but unfortunately we waited too long to try him there and the 5th year option was already declined.
Sanders has been inactive since he left. It’s no secret now that he was struggling with the mental part of the game.

IF Kyler is franchise QB...

There are very nice edge players potentially available (which is rare).

#1 for me is Danielle Hunter
#2 Montez Sweat (but if I were Washington, I would keep him vs Young)
#3 Chase Young (risky due to injury)

Relax bro. That was a sincere laugh. Schneider kind of sucks at player trades.
Oh okay, I misunderstood your intentioms. He did win the Wilson and a Marshawn Lynch trades, but other than that, he's mainly been a disaster at making trades.

This trade is awful when you consider that Leonard Williams is having average results playing next to a double team magnet. Sometimes the trading team is trading a player for a reason; in this case the Giants know he isn't worth another contract and to get a fairly premium pick is crazy.

I think you are correct that it is not a league winning deal. I also feel like it isn’t detrimental at all, and helps them at a key position.

Rapsheet hinted there were multiple bidders for Williams. Apparently Schneider had to outbid other teams including Atlanta. If they don't re-sign him they may get the fifth back via a comp pick.

Obviously we don't know the alternatives, but when you look at the info Bill Barnwell posted on ESPN, there isn't proof that it's a good trade based on Leonard Williams' overall very average play while playing next to a player that overly helps them.

Leonard has 1.5 sacks and 8 pressures all season with Dexter lawrence eating all the double teams.
