ken berger tweeting that Toronto is dangling the NY pick for a PF.

I would give Morris, Tucker, Tele for that.

Morris for the pick and salary filler. You know that McD would take that.

I am in back to back meetings today but trying to keep up to date. Can someone tell me the NY pick details?

Basically Toronto gets the less favorable pick between New York and Denver.

So it is likely a pick between #8-18 depending on how bad or well New York does, Denver will likely be worse and around #7.

Here is something:

Ken Berger ‏@KBergCBS 26m26 minutes ago

Toronto continues to dangle Knicks' first (lesser of NY-DEN in '16) along with Patrick Patterson in effort to upgrade at PF, source says.

More about the draft pick.

Paul Coro ‏@paulcoro 3m3 minutes ago

The Suns traded Markieff Morris to the Wizards for a protected 2016 first-round draft pick. It is protected Nos. 1-9.

Disappointed we did not cash in on Tucker/Teletovic/Knight/Leuer.

There might still be something going on but I agree, I was hoping we'd move more than Morris. I thought moving Knight was an extreme long shot and I don't think Leuer has anything more than late 2nd round pick value but Teletovic and Tucker could have helped a good team get a little better.

Yeah, I'd prefer Knight and Tucker were gone. I expect Knight was hard to move with his health mystery as for Tucker... for whatever reason the organization seems to have a chub for him. I know he would have gotten us essentially nothing, so its not like it hurt us to not cash in, but I'm sick of watching him suck it up out there.

I wonder if it becomes unprotected after a certain time (2017, 2018)? I can see the Wizards pick gaining some value in successive years.

I'm not sure how long the draft pick (1-9) is protected. I'm hoping the Suns get it this season.

Unless we got the year wrong, its a virtual lock we'll get it this year - all but the top reaches of the East are falling apart. Washington was in dire need of a PF so if Markieff plays anywhere near his best, he's going to give them a lift right into the playoffs. Heck, if they get Beal back in time, they'll be a tough out.

It will be the 2016 pick if the Wizards pick falls 10 or later.

The Suns are expected to waive one of the players immediately.

This pick watch will be intense.

Washington is tied for #10 in wins and 1 win ahead of #8. They are 4 wins behind the 8th seed.

I guess worst case this pick will be #18
