Going to be an interesting draft. We get to talk about the entire first round, top to bottom. I am a draft junkie so this is heaven for me.

If the Suns get the Wizards pick I suspect the Suns may look to foreign players like the 2014 draft in Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Although it may be a formality, the Morris trade has not been finalized as yet.

Who would have guessed that Morris would be the biggest name moved league-wide?

I was listening to a couple of the local talking heads and they speculated that the lack of activity was caused by teams not feeling the need to dump salary because of the massive cap increase that is on the way, and that a bunch of teams pushing for mid-50 wins that would normally be looking for a way to put themselves over the top are looking at what Golden State and San Antonio are doing and saying "it ain't happening this year".

I think that's the big one. Hopefully it's coloring our decision making too. We aren't overtaking Golden State until the magic is gone. San Antonio might possibly upset them but that's a longshot and the only shot that exists IMO. And the Spurs window will close soon. Lebron will read the writing on the wall and if he sees the possibility of another super team, he'll probably bolt there and try to win a title for a different "land". This is the GS era for the next 5 years or so barring something drastic and we need to factor that into our timetable.

Eh, he did a couple of stupid things, but he is a veteran who went through some crap in his career- played oversees for years, worked hard and got back into the league. I think the positive outweighs the negative. If the Suns really want him gone, they can either trade him next year or waive him, as only a part of his contract is guaranteed for next year. Outside of not being a very good player, Tucker doesn't bother me that much. One caveat- Warren (or a new player) need to start at SF and Tucker needs to come off the bench. As long as he isn't standing in the way of youngsters' development, I am fine with keeping Tucker.

That's the key. Unfortunately, that current decision is in the hands of rookie coach, a rookie coach we have no idea which way he is leaning.
