I don't want Dwight. Why do they want to trade Okafor? Lack of defence or other reasons? Seems strange to me.

Well so far the 76ers have played worse basketball when Okafor has been on the floor compared to when he was not on the floor.

I haven't watched Okafor play that much but from what I know, I would really like to trade for him. Okafor and Booker going forward would be nice.

It's so quiet on the trade front I can hear the crickets chirping. So far, no significant trades that I am aware of. Maybe this goes down to the final minutes. I'm thinking minimally the Suns want to assist in making trades happen with some spin-off benefits.

That's what happened last year. It was crickets until the last hour of the trade deadline and BOOM.

I can see where the Suns do not do much but I can also see a BOOM coming as I stare blankly at a computer screen.

I wonder if this could increase interest in Knight.

Adrian Wojnarowski

Sources: Atlanta's expressing its intentions to rivals that Hawks plan to keep team intact at deadline, holding onto Horford and key guards.

The Bucks have 2 high 2nd round picks and their #7 pick ( wont trade that I suppose)

Besides that they have no interesting pieces for a trade.

Their really young cheap guys are all terrible. That leaves Plumlee, Henson, Vasquez, Bayless and Mayo..

Id take Plumdog back in a heart beat. He made the Suns center position fast and fun. He was a very active center with great handles.

Heres a link back to the time the Suns had a relevant center.

Also there is this.

Adrian Wojnarowski
@WojVerticalNBA

Sources: Rockets, Jazz had casual talks on Ty Lawson, but those ended. Both teams moved on. Another thing: Rockets won't buy out Lawson.

I wonder if the Bucks would have any interest in the return of Knight? That should get us the #7 pick.

If they'd trade the Plumlee that played for us the first two months of his Suns career, I'd love to pick him up. He was running the court, blocking shots, defending and being an all around general pest out there. But I suspect we'd get the unmotivated, ball dropping, poor shooting Plumlee that we all witnessed herre his last 80 games or so.

P.J. Tucker is staying with Suns.

P.J. Tucker is among the Suns' better assets but a source said the Suns have told him that he will not be traded before today's deadline.

P.J. Tucker is staying with Suns.

Based on an unnamed source.

I find it hard to believe that this actually is true because PJ clearly is not untouchable and if Philly called and said Okafor for Tucker you can't tell me that McD would say "but I told PJ he is not going to be traded".

Also the value Detroit gave up for Motiejunas is ridiculous. That guy has played only 14 games because of back injuries, he can't stay healthy, is having a terrible season and is only a year younger than Markieff with free agency upcomming.

If that is worth a top8 protected team from a team currently at #12...

It seems like I heard Tucker was opposed to a trade. I don't know the details but that may have played a role.

What about trading Brandon Knight for Ty Lawson? I know Ty has some problems but he's a much better PG than Brandon and his salary next year is not guaranteed. Of course, he could hurt our bid for a high draft pick...

There is some talk Ty Lawson may be waived if he is not traded. I guess there are not many takers.

Ty Lawson isnot better than Knight.

Unlike Knight he cant play SG.

Plus he is an alcoholic and maybe more, he is a bum without trade value.

Anyone know why the Kings appear locked onto Gasol?

Marc Stein Verified account

But Sacramento, according to ESPN sources, has not yet abandoned its trade pursuit of Chicago's Pau Gasol with just under an hour to go

ken berger tweeting that Toronto is dangling the NY pick for a PF.

I would give Morris, Tucker, Tele for that.
