Here are a couple of interesting names:

2. Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham is far from a necessity in Cincy with Tyler Eifert coming off an injury. Rapoport noted weeks ago that Gresham "could be had."

3. Oakland signed Justin Tuck to a two-year, $11 million contract in the offseason, but the Raiders pass rusher might not finish that deal on the West Coast if the right offer is made.

If #azcardinals don't make trade for a pass rusher today, won't be because they didn't try. Many calls but nothing so far.

Good to hear they are trying.

Watching CBS Sports last night, they were saying that edge rushers are hard to come by through trade because they are in such high demand. Teams generally want the moon and stars for one. My take is, chances are the Cards' first round pick is going to be anywhere from 25-32. If we can get a decent to good edge rusher who is young enough, I wouldn't be against trading our 1st round pick. Tuck is 31 and is still serviceable but his age scares me in parting with a 1st round pick. 2nd maybe. The Raiders might be stupid enough to part with him for a 3rd. It's going to tick me off if Seattle spends to get some line help and we don't.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett says no results back on Tony Romo's back yet. On deciding on if he can play, "It's a medical decision."

Would only trade Stanton and a 6th for Romo.

I think we can expect a Joey Porter type signing like Brian Orakpo in the offseason. Something in the 5-6m a year range. We can't expect a rookie to immediately make a significant impact rushing the passer.

So is no news meaning there were no trades the cards made, or could they still be working on one?
