The Suns defense is shaky.

My guess is that they are more likely scouting a Walker for Lillard swap than anything with the Suns.

The Blazers are playing like an experienced team that has been together for awhile.

The Suns, not so much... at least at the moment.

Jackson continues to look worse, and Ayton already looks disinterested. Clearly Isaiah Canaan is not the answer at point guard, and Okobo remains nowhere near ready for the NBA...

So far meh. I get Igor's focus on motion offense, but sometimes you got to just feed the big man!

I'm afraid Canaan isn't much better than any of the other PGs we have. Missed Ayton on pick and pop situations multiple times in the first Q alone.

Sorry, but I have been trying to make this point for a while and keep getting lambasted for it. Does anyone really want to put up with another season of this unwatchable play?

Your point is flawed and incomplete because our best offensive player hasn't been on the floor in pre-season.

The thing is, it's the first game back for Canaan but can the Suns wait.

One player should not make the difference between competitiveness and historically bad, especially with all of the other lottery picks on the roster. In any event, they look worse without Booker now than they did without Booker last year. This team continues to head in the wrong direction.

No, you don't get lambasted for it. You get lambasted for the assertions that follow statements like that. We have bad point guards. It doesn't mean we're going to win between 10 and 21 games, it doesn't mean it's going to set our young players back 5 or 10 years, it doesn't mean Booker will get injured covering the position and so on. But we surely do have bad point guards.

Are you not noticing how that is impacting the other players already? We already saw it with Jackson. Now add Ayton to the mix.

What is your opinion about what the consequences will be if we go with the current roster of four bad Point Guards? How severly do you think they will affect the play of Ayton and the rest?

Of course it's going to impact them. That's true of every team in the league. Nash made everyone a lot better, Bledsoe made some players a little better and so on. It doesn't mean players can't be effective, especially once we add our best player to the lineup. And none of our stars are anywhere near the peak so we have youth working against us in addition to weak PGs.

Apparently most of the board doesn't think it will be a big deal because Devin Booker will be the cure-all savior...
