Day off so I'm back at it today. First man on the practice field award goes to Andrae Kirk.

I will probably focus on Defense today since the 2nd team on looked like poop on Sat.

PP was fielding punts at a couple of the saturday practices I went to. Haven't gone during the week though.

They are running a cool drill where it's a RB going out for passes on a LB one on one... The RBs dominated. Got quite a bit of it on video

Buchanon was in on it as well and got an INT, that was really only highlight for defense

our ILB's are terrible

Zach Wagenmann (olb, udfa) broke his foot and out for year. I assume CJ took that roster spot.

Bert--thanks so much for this video and all your great reporting. I vote you MVASF!

That was a good RB versus ILB cover drill.

Ellington is unguardable.

Hughes was very good, even had a TD over the top.

Williams had a drop---but came back to make a nice catch over the middle.

Taylor looked smooth running the routes and catching the ball.

As for the ILB cover guys---

I thought #50 Gabe Martin looked the most natural and most competitive.

I thought they waived the safety that was injured in the Chiefs game? I didn't realize Wagenmann was healthy and playing again.

They did wave the safety. The Wagenmanns injury didnt get reported until after CJ signed I believe. He is out for the year =/
