Listening to Burns and Gambo on the way home they were broadcasting from Cards Camp and talking about the MLB trade deadline for a few minutes.

During that trade talk Gambo breaks in and says "Did you just see that throw from Murray to Fitz! Perfect placement, no way the DB could do anything about it!"

Then a few minutes later Burns breaks in "Oh My! Did you just see that throw from Murray to Fitz! That ball left Murray's hand so fast and got to Fitz so quick! It was like the ball teleported there!"

I take very little stock in what those bozos say. Both of them are company men. Let's see it on the field when the bullets are live.

Probably on the 20 yard post against the blitz. Ball came out like lightning

The only guy I'd call a "company man" on 98.7 is Wolfley.

You hear the same thing from Pete Prisco who HATED the Murray pick. Came by to see OTAs and said his release was Marino-like.

I disagree. Bickley seems to be the only one who isn't.

I'm hopeful but let's remember what they were saying about Wilks and Ryan McDonough's draft in 2016.

They're company men through and through.

I'm assuming this was one of the throws. Pretty sick throw and catch to be honest. Murray really threw Fitz open on this play.

Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine..

I get people not liking extremely optimistic takes, but assuming 4-8 after 12 games before we have seen a single snap seems a bit ridiculous to me.

So is expecting a team that went 3-13 last season to be in playoff contention in December, which is what’s inferred by thinking games will be flexed during that time. One of these events has a higher probability of happening

Maybe Michael thinks our opponents in December are just that important to see on national TV?

I second that. 6-6, 7-5 or 8-4 at the 12 game mark. Go Cards.

Where are you finding 7-8 wins by the time we play the Rams the first time?

That's wild.

Guy asks how hard it was to get rid of Wilks after one year

Michael immediately responds "it was an easy decision. There was no way we were going back to that"

thats pretty salty for public consumption

Club seating event - yes?

i get there was (likely) no media, but still.....

Gambo is Sarvar's chauffeur.

Like Bickley and to an extent Marrotta too for their independence.

Any word on BUtler/Isabella? How is Murray out of the pocket? Based on what yall observed, do yall see him as strictly a pocket passer who can run, even moreso than Wilson?

Based on my Sundays experience of the play Murray will be a pocket passer first and first. I liked that he looks comfortable passing the football in his first training camp.

25% of Calcaterra’s catches were touchdowns last season. Just saying.

Calcaterra is a STUD.

I watched a bit of OU and he and Hollywood were the guys that really jumped out at me. I like CeeDee, but quite a bit less.

Calcaterra could be a weapon with his size, hands, and route running.

I’m surprised you liked Cal & Hollywood more than CeeDee. I think CD is easily a better prospect than Hollywood & will be a top 3 WR off the board in a stacked WR class come 2020.

I think Ceedee is going to end up being a 2-3 round guy. Good size, good hands, but I dont think he has any really great traits about him.

wot.

His concentration & body control are elite. Great hands. Ball skills are amazing. He’s so natural going up & get it.

Only thing he needs to work on is being more deceptive on his routes.

I don't think it was said with any sort of malice or negative tone. I got the sense that Michael wants fans to move on from the crap show that was the 2018 season as soon as possible. And, yes, it was a club level event with no media present.
