Any team that doesn't walk out on to the field truely trying to win.....shouldn't even be on the field in the first place.

...and any one that thinks the team would do that, needs some serious help, IMO.

I don't think anyone thinks that the team would not try their best. I think that they do try their best, but their best is not good. But, I don't think a fan's view of the NFL has anything to do with their needing serious help. Too many MUCH more important things in life.

I, for one, would have liked to have seen a better effort. However, the Cards losing doesn't bother me that much. I didn't think they were any better than the Bears (if as good). I thought they might beat (upset) the Bears, but I was wrong.

I would have liked to see better production from the offense. Something to grasp on for next year. For all intensive purposes, this season IS over. The goal weekly SHOULD be to go out and win, but obviously, the goal overall should be to make the play-offs, and eventually, the Super Bowl. Not to be content to win 3 to 7 games. Once the Cards put themselves out of contention for the play-offs, I (as a fan) look for positives for the next year. Because, as a fan, I would like to see the Cards win a championship.

The Cards are among the worst teams in the NFL, and whether they get it or not, are worthy (or unworthy) of one of the top few picks in the next draft. It is a shame that the season is not over, and some of us (I for one) are already thinking about the draft. But, alas, the Cards need improvement, and that is one of the ways a team can improve themselves.

Again, I agree that the players and coaches should try their best.


Just my opinion.

There is never an excuse or reason to not go out there and give everything you have to win every single time.

I will never settle for a loss if it means better draft position.

Remember in 97 when we had that drive to win the last game of the season? We could have had the first pick in the draft if we lost that game. Instead Jake takes us down the field, we win it, and it set up the good feeling that we were going somewhere and the team had some future, next season, we made the playoffs.
