Wednesday night I got dragged to the mall by my wife, and I ran into a Cardinals DB who was suffering the same fate. He had gotten back from camp, and his wife couldn't wait to go shopping with him. Since we were both stuck outside the dressing room I figured I'd try get some inside info. In a nutshell he said camp has been really intense, Emmitt has been a great leader, and Blake has brought a lot of trash talking to the mix, that has made the O vs D scrimmages a lot of fun. I also asked him about the Iowa guys, Woods and Kasper. He said Woods would make the team if for no other reason than he is an absolute stud on special teams. He is one of those seek and destroy types. As for Kasper this is where it got interesting. He said he thinks Kasper is our best receiver, but he probably won't make the team. It seems that Sullivan doesn't like him, in fact he used the words "pure hatred". He doesn't know why or at least he wouldn't tell me. I guess it has been one of the hot topics among the players. I don't know how this will all play out, but it is pretty interesting.

Guys in the Red Rage show have Kasper as the #2 wide out...

But getting cut would fit w/ his string of bad luck in the last couple years. It pissed me off! In every single(Cardinals or otherwise) game that he has been in he has made a major contribution. Returning, recieving, rushing, tackels on special teams. The problem is he rarely gets the chance to show his stuff. Two of the games that he was placed on IR for last year w/ the Donkeys he was healthy, they just wanted to pull a DB up and needed to make room. That and the fact they cut Kasper, let Romo go, kept Brian Greise( which kept them from the long ball to the Great Rod Smith) made me root against the Broncos last year

It's gonna be hard to cut him if he keeps making plays.
Who cares what his past track record is? They throw it, he catches it. What a concept.

I hate malls. I am pretty good at directions and azimuths and stuff but when I'm in a mall, I loose all sense of direction. I'm like a bat with a lead hat on.

The only good things about the malls are the bouncing fun bags.

Bouncing fun bags are great until your signifigant other goes all Terry Tate on you and throws a horrifying chop block on ya for looking.

All malls should have a large central area that serves Budweiser only (in a can), distributes those rating cards that judges hold up and plays the Sex Pistols way too loud on a continuous basis.

I think we should sign Terry Tate. As far as bouncing fun bags (the only thing better than football) I'm guessing Arizona is a lot like Florida in that girls are usually half naked year round. I feel for those poor suckers up north. As much as everyone likes to complain about 100+ degree weather, it does have its good points.

Maybe when you're done with your snowblower repair job you can design malls. I would definately shop at the Section 11 mall.

With all the rain we've been getting, the snowblower repair gig really is taking off...

But seriously, my mall would have large packs of stray dogs that could be released into the crowd at random intervals, belly dancers, an abnormally large swimming pool and would come with the requirement that approximately three out of every five stores were dedicated to hot air balloon maintenance.

I quoted the wrong post above and my response to that one makes no sense. I hang my head in shame.

Sorry but Sullivan hating Kasper isn't a good enough reason for me as to Kasper being cut...especially if he keeps making plays. It is one thing if Kasper doesn't do what Sullivan is telling him to do but clearly another if all this is about is dislike.

Life forces us to be around and work with people we don't like and if that person is a top performer, then you figure out a way to make it work.

Shopping sucks. Section 11 has the right idea. It has always been my opinion that stores would make a whole lot more money by putting confortable chairs and even a TV oputside the dressing rooms. I know it would improve my attitude whiloe shopping.

Section 11, when I lived in Southern Illinois, there was a mall in Fairview Heights that had a restaurant in the basement of one of the better dept. stores. This restaurant served the best Manhattans you ever tasted (beside the usual beer, wine, etc.). When my wife would go shopping, I would go straight to the restaurant and suck down those Manhattans until she came to get me.

This served two purposes. #1, I had an excuse to get drunk (like I ever really needed one) and #2, it kept mall spending to a minimum (if she shopped to long, I would have to be carried out).
