Wow I liked Talib. Ok it's not your normal announcer English but I really liked that he was telling me things I didn't always know and pointing out things I thought I knew that weren't necessarily what I thought they were.

I enjoyed listening to him

I would rather have that with someone who knows the game vs someone who is articulate & doesn't know crap about football or the players.

Like the other guy who kept pointing out how losing the holder was huge for the Eagles because you know they were going to kick the FG down 7 points with 1:55 to go. I suppose they MIGHT have, and they did of course get the ball back but they still had to score a TD in 1:28 without timeouts so the only difference is a TD wins it not ties.

Impact yes huge impact no

That play-by-play guy is awful, and I found Talib annoying as hell at first. But as the game went on I think he got more comfortable, and I got more comfortable with his delivery, and by the end, I thought his commentary was great. I think he has a future in the booth if he sticks with it.

This is how i feel. At first I did not like him at all.

Same here. I went back and forth throughout the game wondering if I liked him or not. Even said so to my husband. I appreciate that he was prepared and excited about the game. He'll get coached and he'll get better.

The announcers on all the games only mention all the players hurt form the Cardinal opponents and never talk about the Cardinal's player on the IR.

The whole Football Night in America is ghastly, imo. Kornacki is the only reason to watch anymore and he's only on for about 5 min

Talib does a local radio spot here in Boston once a week and he is hilarious. I believe this was his 3rd game commentating. His first game was 2 weeks ago in Det. It was getting annoying but you can tell his insight is there and I know he studies hard.
