Really? A guy who hasn't been in the spotlight who you've never met before gets hired and you are automatically supposed to have a picture of him? If this happened during the SB week as was said, Whiz hadn't really been on the team for long, and it's not like he had been in the media spotlight in the past, like say Dennis Green had when he came here. What do you think we hired Whiz and the Steelers players just started texting pictures of him? Did you expect Matt to go rewatch Steelers games to see Whiz on the sideline just so he'd know what he looked like? That's absurd.
I don't know why you'd expect someone to know what another person looks like before meeting them. That just makes no sense.
Maybe because we live in a media age and his picture was plastered over EVERYTHING that had to do with the Cardinals when they a) brought him to be interviewed and b) was plastered everywhere even more once he was hired.
If you're the QB, a franchise QB, and you just got a head coach, don't you think if you gave a **** you'd at least google the guy?!
Sorry, but the above is absurd. Any QB who cares about his job, any QB who lives and dies by the sport wants to know all there is to know about the guy who's going to be his boss.
I mean... jesus... even if we weren't talking about the most highly recognizable sport in the country where pictures are plastered everywhere of every story that hits the fan... are you telling me that when you're going in for a job, you don't do ANY research on the people you're interviewing with? That's job preparedness 101 for ANY line of work.
