I doubt it. Too specific not to be some smoke there. I am sure that there was an overture or phone call. That's all I am saying. I seriously doubt the agents concocted a specific scenario from a specific team without first talking to that team. I think you give this agent too much credit. So far, he doesn't appear to be that smart.

I don't think anybody is debating the extent of how far this went or if there was an official deal on the table. I don't think anybody can know that. I also don't doubt the Suns were not interested. Nothing to read into here....only that I think it's probably legit that they were trying to dump junk contracts on us or at least inquiring about it.

Specific? Other than denials there hasn't been anything specific that I'm aware of. Speculation only. All we really know is that Minnesota would have to get rid of roughly 21 million dollars worth of contracts in order to sign Bledsoe to the rumored max. They have several large dollar players but none of those players are worth their contracts. So if you want to say that it's a real offer when someone says we'll give you negative value for something with positive value, then fine, it's a real offer.

any news on Bledsoe is moot until like 2 days before his deadline... right now it is simply a starring contest to see who folds first..

Not sure how anyone can make claims how Rich Paul is smart or not. Seems to me he is doing the savvy thing from his perspective to squeeze out as much money as possible.

If the news about the salary cap going up by 15-16M$ in the next 2 years it's likely that Bledsoe even at the max now is not an outrageous claim.

If the Wolves offered Rubio, Lavine and filler I would send Bledsoe and maybe Ennis to Minnesota. Assuming Rubio would sign a reasonable extension here.

What I mean by that is an Agent specifically called out that team and leaked specific names versus just talking in generalities. Why that team?

Again...what is being debated here? All that I was saying is that it appears the team made an inquiry to the Suns. It's pretty common practice and even the local radio in MN (according to some of the forums) as well as my peers that work there said as well they made an inquiry.

Not sure there needs to be a debate. I don't think "sources" for ESPN, our local radio or theirs is necessarily more reliable than the other. It's always speculation unless you have an official statement. Most teams NEVER make official statement about inquiries.

None of this matters anyway.....the clock is ticking and his idiot agent is on the clock.

Well, so far all the leaks about Bledsoe have come from either Haynes or Windhorst, each of whom is tied to Paul. Now this story comes out from Windhorst and the kicker is that Flip, Minnesota's Head Coach/President is a long time client of one of Bledsoe's agents. Since it's a given that any team in the league would gladly trade 21 million dollars worth of bad contracts in order to sign Bledsoe to a 15 million dollar deal, this seems like smoke not substance to me.

And I agree, the clock is ticking on his idiot agent.
