The easiest path would be Seattle going 0 -6 down the stretch and we go 6-0. I mean as likely as that would be.

Heres the updated NFC Playoff picture- Top 4 seeds are the division leaders:

1. Seattle 8-2
2. Chicago 7-3
3. Carolina 7-3
4. NY Giants 7-3
5. Tampa Bay 7-3
6. Dallas 7-4
-------------------------------
Cardinals 3-7 vs. Jags

With the Giants playing the Seahawks, the Bears playing the Bucs, and Dallas having already lost, the Cardinals can gain some solid ground with a win this week over Jacksonville. If they are able to pull it off they will be within "3" games of the final wildcard playoff spot with still 5 weeks to go.

Go Cards/ America!

Interesting stat- The Jaguars were 4-7 and in 1996 and made it to the AFC Championship game! Just a little food for thought heading into tomorrows big game!

Redskins, Bucs, and maybe the Vikes still stand in our path, but I'm on board with all the optimism.

How about taking it one game at a time? This week the Jaguars stand in your path. :)

Here is an updated look at the NFC Playoff Picture- Top 4 teams are the division leaders:

1. Seattle 9-2
2. Chicago 8-3
3. Carolina 8-3
4. Dallas 7-4
5. NY Giants 7-4
6. Atlanta 7-4
---------------------------------------------
7. Tampa Bay 7-4
8. Minnesota 6-5
9. Washington 5-6
10 St.Louis 5-6
11. Detroit 4-7
12. Arizona 3-8
13. New Orleans 3-8

Eliminated:
San Francisco 2-9
Green Bay 2-9

Under miracle circumstances the Cardinals would need to win out to finish 8-8. Then they would need 2 of the following teams (Dallas, NY Giants, Tampa Bay, Atlanta) to lose out and finish 7-9 and hope Minnesota only wins once more this season. Incredible as it may seem the schedule (at least this week) plays into the Cardinals favor as Dallas or NY Giants will get there 5th loss and Tampa Bay (at New Orleans) and Atlanta (at Carolina) could spell a loss for both of those teams as well.

Call it "Kool Aid to the max" but I actually had fun sitting down and figuring all of this out to share with you

Go Cards/ America!

KOOL AID ALERT: With the Cardinals win today combined with the Cowboys & Falcons losses keeps them mathematically ALIVE for 1 more week! :thewave:
