As long as I get bricks, a bat, shanks and a Cleaver....I am nothing if not a survivor....Now if I was allowed such weapons...for Sunday battle against the throng of opposing fans.....we would not have this long thread:D

Ok, I'll take the guns and grenades. I've qualified as expert in both.

Rats, 50 percent of you is going to leave the other 50 percent!!

:D

Greetings Skkorp. Looks like you are feeling good tonight.

Yup. Stone cold sober and drug free. Just re-watched the Steeler game for the third time.

Quoting Jake Plummer "I don't give a Rats ass" how many Iron City drinkers were there (anybody notice how many of them were obese and how ugly their women are?)

They just looked like a huge part of the crowd but were really just huge people wearing yellow and black mumus, carrying these big bright bath towels to wipe away crocodile tears.

You know, it is quite enjoyable to see the disappointment, and disbelief, on opposing fans faces when they lose to us. Will I miss that?

Nah.. not too much, I think.

One of my favorite pictures was of Matt Hasselbeck after the home game last season, after the loss. He couldn't have looked more crushed--it was a perfect duplicate of De La Roche's Portrait of Napoleon at Fountainebleu after his Abdication

Hasselbeck only wishes he had this much hair.

Cum ba ya lord, cum ba ya ...

If that doesn't work, try:

Michael rowed the boat ashore, halleluyah...

Ah, the 60's. Make love, not war, and don't Bogard that joint. Two tokes and peace would be restored.

Boy does that bring back some memories.:D

Rats --

I agree, even if it was "only" 25 to 30% Pitt fans, that is too much.

However, I also am thrilled that the stadium is selling out -- and that those Cardinal fans who do go-- it seems 90% are wearing some kind of Cardinal gear.

For those of us who have endured the SDS days -- having 50k fans in support of the Cards and wearing red is part of the whole pro football game experience that has been sorely lacking in years past.

Agreed but we still have a long ways to go. More than a few fans in our section were wearing black shirts with the Cards logo on them.

I coulda touched three people from my seat dressed that way. They just don't quite get it yet. They are new fans and they are trying.

Some of us long time fans are trying to help them understand what the game day experience really is.

It seems simple that when we are playing the Steelers you don't wear your black Cardinal shirt because when the camera pans the stadium it looks like more Steeler fans than there really is.

You wouldn't believe how many Cards fans I saw in black Cards gear. Crazy!
