The one 4 months ago? Nah, I dont respond to emotional fellas.. A gimp never gets my time.. Move on..

I'm more than a little curious as to why you would refer to my son as a GIMP. I'm hoping that it has nothing to do with the fact that he's lost fingers in a horrible work accident. Regardless of how emotional discussions on this board become, THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR A COMMENT OF THAT NATURE!! Please explain yourself as I believe an apology is in order.

Its so funny how quick everyone is to turn on the guy they hailed as God just a few months ago.

I seem to remeber a guy who was really bent out of shape about players getting too much money and jepordizing the good of the team.

Sometimes it takes a while for us to catch up. :D

The reason he was always our hero was because of his play, he was the bright spot for us for so long. Also, that during his last contact dispute he said had the attitude of "I'll play football and let my agent handle the finacials"

How knows what is going on behind the scenes. But I have to admit this is getting ridiculous on all accounts.

Dansby, Dockett, Boldin, Wilson, etc., etc.

I heard Tim Hightower wants a new deal, too. So does the 1st round draft pick in our 2009 draft....he wants a advance on his future contract.

This team was 8-8 last year, and pitiful the years before. I can understand a Super Bowl team having these problems, but this is getting ridiculous.

You can tell me " I told you so" and all that. But I can care less. There is something up with this team and it transcends normalcy.

The organization gets ripped for not paying its players, and now gets ripped for paying them. A complete catch 22 situation for a organization that hasn't won a damn thing in so long it is laughable.

Boldin is a great player. Dockett is a great player. Dansby is a great player. But there is a salary cap in this league, and you can only pay so many guys some much money.

Unless you are the Cowboys. Look at all the guys they have given huge $$$$$ contracts to the last couple of seasons: Romo, LD, TO, Barber, Witten, Ware and Newman. How in the heck do they do it? Jerry must be praying there is no sallary cap in 2010, because I'm thinking they will have to cut half their roster ala the Niners 5-6 years ago.

Sometimes I think the Bidwills are hamstrung financially to get very creative with contracts because they don't have the big deep pockets like Jones and Snyder. The Cardinals are their source of wealth unlike other owners who are rich outside of football. Have the Bidwills gotten better re-doing contracts? Yes!!! But, with salaries sky rocketing for every position by the season can we continue to keep big name players around to build a champion? Dansby's contract should have already done. Why hasn't it?

So basically the Cardinals Front offices says that they don't want to spend Big money on unknown free agents and they want to reinvest it in players like Fitz and Boldin. Yet everyone on here is blaming Boldin? Do you people honestly believe that the cheapest franchise in the history of sports just magically turned a corner. Sure they have gotten better but man they still have some serious warts.

Everyone knows I am the first one here to jump on the bash the Front office bandwagon and I dont like a lot of things about Graves, But, Sorry scenerio just doesnt fly one bit. Here is why. The Cards tried to negotiate with Boldin during the season. Boldin and his agent said no to the first deal and told Graves they dont want to negotiate until Fitz got his new deal. It is Boldin who started this waiting process not the Cards. Cards even warned him. Graves told them flat out that he cannot gaurantee them that he could negotiate with them later on because in the offseason there would be other priorites at the time and Boldin would have to wait even longer. Priorites such as the draft, free agency, Fitz, Dansby, Warner, draft pick contracts and maybe a few others with deals that would be ending before Boldins would end. This story has been verified by Graves, Boldin, and multiple Media sources.

This is Boldins Fault, and his own fault only. Either Boldins ego got in the way and he had to wait until Fitz got paid becuase his ego just couldnt take Fitz getting paid more then him again. Or he got some really bad advice from his agent and he was stupid enough to listen to him.

I agree with Boldin ego getting in the way. Boldin has done just as much as Fitzgerald on this team, so he waited to see where the Value was. Terrel Owens knew he was going to get a new contract with Dallas. If you noticed Chad Johnson was going to hold out. All considered to be top players at the WR position. All knew last year that they were going to be asking for new contracts. Boldin wanted to see where numbers land to try to get the most for himself. I believe anybody that had the opportunity to get more money they would.

Sports are about to be a wrap.. This aint about Q, but sports in general..

We got the Cards calling season tickets holders to come back after they cant afford them anymore because of the economy.. Gas is too high which effects everything.. The price of shipping of everything.. Food, clothes, dvds, everything..

So the people cant afford season tickets no more.. The players demand more money, which in turn raises season ticket and beer and food prices at the stadium even more..

I wonder if I could go to my boss and inquire about a raise since the prices are jacked up.. Id prolly, scratch that, Id get laughed out the building..

So what do we have here? We'll have stadiums empty cuz of greedy agents not having the forsight to protect the longetivity of the money they are currently trying to plunge.. And soon, we'll all be like Rome around crumbled cloesiums..

greedy bastards...

Rising cost of gas + greedy agents = end of civilization as we know it. :D

Sure, but when you are told point blank. We will have other priorites at the time you want to negotiate and you will have to wait. You cant be upset when it actually happens.

It is like someone being told interest rates will go up on home loans in 6 months so you better buy the house you want right now, only to wait 6 months then be pissed off that the interest rates went up. Its your own fault, now you have to deal with it.

Oh, he is a puppet master alright. He can care less about his clients' teams, career, or anything else.

He plays them all against each other, and pads his wallet.

I bet the guy doesn't even watch football.

I post4ed two years ago that one of Fitz or Q would be gone when the Cardinals made the Playoffs. I predicted Fitz would be traded. I was wrong. We can get a good trade for Q. Its a business

I'll admit it; I have a HUGE man crush on Q. This situation stinks. I've decided that A) Q is still the man B) he has a douche bag for an agent and C) he's lucky he has B as it will ultimately make him more money.

I've met Q a couple of times at Jilly's, the man's nothing but nice. This debacle is nothing more than the crappy aspect of professional sports.

He'll be ready to play when the season starts, and SWD's comment about Q never playing 16 games again, let's lay bets on that.
