Dude I mainly watch SEC football, since I'm originally from the south, and I can tell you that the SEC has just as many big strong players as the Big 10, if not more.

The big difference is the speed plain and simple. The Big Ten just has plodding players, while the SEC has many very fast players. On most SEC rosters they have more speed in their WR corps than Big Ten teams have on their entire roster

The difference is in the politics. The Big 10 schools are full of hippies (have you ever been to Madison Wisconsin?). The SEC Rednecks. Everyone knows Rednecks are better football players than hippies. Now if Frisbee Golf were the nation's #1 sport the Big 10 would be tops.

I'm talking about the average players. The ones who are participating in the combine are the elite and it only makes sense that the elite players will have decent speed.
