Just heard this quote by Porter on KTAR:

I've been on teams where guys didn't even like eachother at all. But when the game started I knew they had my back, and I had theirs. I'm not seeing that presently with this team.

That leads me to believe that the Suns are (obviously) having horrible chemistry issues and another trade could be on the way. Just thought it was interesting enough to post.

For sure a trade is on the way.

"We have to figure it out," Kerr said. "If the pieces don't fit, that's on me."

"that's on me (to fix it)."

There is another rumor today saying Bosh has informed Colangelo that he won't resign with Toronto after his contract expire. Here is the link: http://www.theknicksblog.com/2009/02/01/bosh-told-colangelo-he-wont-resign/

Amare for Bosh swap is quite an easy deal to make for Kerr and Colangelo. But will it be good enough for us? I haven't watched Bosh much, but from my memomry he is only a little better than Amare.

It's kind of seeming more obvious by the second that Amare is on the way out. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Most of his problems this season likely stem from coaching, but if IF he is a chemistry problem then perhaps he should go. There's no one else on the team that I could even imagine being a chemistry problem. No one else is cocky enough, except for Shaq, who everyone says is friendly.

Can we trade Amare for Boris? :)

I'd take Amare for Bosh just because Bosh plays better D. He still can score and rebound, too.

Maybe Amare + Barbosa for Bosh + Anthony Parker is good enough to turn things around. http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=4964374

Anthony Parker is a very good upgrade for us as backup PG and SG. He is not an explorsive scorer as Barbosa, but he plays the point better, and defends much better.

I love what Barbosa is doing for us, but if Nash stays, this team desperately need an upgrade at #2 PG, especially in matter of defense. I think Colangelo likes him very much, might help to get the deal done.

This would be a GREAT deal for Phoenix. I wouldn't even blink if it was offered.

I would prefer to keep Barbosa out of any deals. But I guess it may be required.

The Suns give up too much in the Barbosa/Parker variant. I like Bosh a lot, but he's a relative unknown as far as playoff performance is concerned. One has to give Stoudemire the edge there.

This quote screams that Porter has lost this team and that he knows it. They have no respect for him at all...but I'm not sure he deserves any at this point.

When you factor in the knee, Boshs willingness in the Olympics to do whatever it took, and the karmaic justice of sending Amare and his bad attitude to Toronto I do that trade in a second.

Unfortunately it doesn't help us where we need it most. Peremeter defense. Maybe Jamrio Moon, Parker, and Bosh for STAT, Barbosa, and filler?

If we can swap Amare for CB. Sign me up. I will take that in a second.

Amare for Bosh (with whatever surrounding parts) is a FANTASTIC trade! Bosh brings it. Statistically, I think he scores better and rebounds the same (I'll look it up), but he is a much more versatile scorer from any position on the floor. Really, that is an unfair trade as I think Bosh is more valuable than Amare. Also, Bosh is longer and plays better D. Bosh fits better with this team than Dirk would (whom I would support trading Amare for).

So, Amare/Barbs for Bosh/crap is all good for me. If we get Parker out of the deal, it's officially a steal, but this is a deal we have to make....

I'm amazed by this assessment of yours. I thought Amare were the loser like Marbury or Curry.;)

Seriously, like Amare was never given the chance Al Jefferson, Dwight Howard got to be featured on a team, Bosh has never gotten the chance to prove himself in playoffs. One might make the same mistake to dismiss Bosh's playoff capability as do Amare's leadership one. :(

Yes, of course. But trades for established stars on maximum contracts are usually balanced according to what those players have already demonstrated, not what they might be able to do down the line.

I'd say that Stoudemire has had more failed opportunities to lead than Bosh has had failed opportunities to deliver in the playoffs. Whatever that means.

I've watched Bosh quite a bit being up here in the Great White North and I'd have to say purely on a comparison 1 on 1 basis Bosh is probably marginally better. I'd give Stat the better mid range jumper and finisher at the rim while Bosh has a better back to the basket range and is a better defender.

The thing is, if it's true that Bosh has told BC that he won't resign, I'm not sure getting Stat would be any better. I can't see Stoudemire resigning there either so he's back at square one.

Bosh is going to NYC in 2010. We would simply be renting him for a year.

Can we just blow this team up already? Young guys and draft picks are what this team needs.

This team would be amazingly better if Amare played defense. He is absolutely clueless on the other side of the floor, and it seems to be spreading to his offense the last few games.

I wonder what good coach wants the phx job with its meddling owner, green GM, and scary chemistry problems? I'll bet not one good coach wants to work for Kerr/Sarver.

I have zero problem with Sarver meddling. I have a problem with his judgment.

You may not have a problem with it, but Im sure sarvers action$ are scary to any good coach.

I don't know about that. If a coach feels they have a good owner who supports the team, I doubt they would care. The question becomes, do they feel Sarver is a good owner. I think that would be a larger detractor then anything.

Any good caoch will ask, will this guy support me and let me do my job? that would be much more important than team love.
