I think its a good deal for both teams. As to why Toronto would deal Bosh for Amare, its simple Amare would be the man in Toronto. I dont know if Toronto is an attractive destination in Amare's mind, but its pretty clear that nobody would be close to challenging him as the go to guy and he would play with a pretty good PG in Calderon.

I think if the Suns throw in Barbosa, it help the Suns even more and I dont think Toronto would turn that down.

Clearing Barbosa's contract put the Suns in position to possibly bring in Wade or at least another good player to team with Bosh.

The one thing that would worry me, is Bosh leaving to team with LeBron somewhere.

Doing the KT dump losing 2 #1 picks must be the dumbest move outside the gasol trade in the NBA. I suspect that good NBA coaches know what happened there. What coach wants to be tied to an owner that thinks he knows what his is doing and disassembles his team that way. the lakers take expiring contracts and trade them for all stars, the suns give the expiring contract and 2 #1 picks away for nothing. Dont think NBA coaches see this idiocy?
How about giving dragic recond money for a 2nd round pick or signing lopez to "help right away"? No, any decent coach knows the suns ship is rudderless and taking on water due to poor management. Sometimes that poor management is getting too involved in basketball decisions when you dont know jack.

In alot of employment situations, being surrounded with incompetence WILL prevent you from doing your job.
