Great interview. I am soooo ready to see this team, and Matt in particular, prove the doubters wrong.

He sounds a lot more collected in this video than I've seen him before. I really want to see him do well, hopefully he can.

One thing I noticed, a lot of those completions in the video were to #81. You gotta wonder what we do with him if we do part ways with Dansby and Rolle.

Good interview.

I am still a doubter and will be until he proves other wise.

Even in the highlights shown almost all of the passes were high and hung the receivers out and were ripe for picking. He still has to learn how to read a defense and know where all his receivers are at all times so when he looks off the primary he knows where to look.

But while Whisenhunt made the wrong decision in going with Leinart in 2007, he's right when he says there's really no other decision in 2010.

"He's the only quarterback we've got on the roster," Whisenhunt said of Leinart. "So we don't really have a lot of options."
Good endorsement by Whiz.

Whisenhunt compared Leinart’s situation with that of Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers, who sat for a couple of seasons behind Brett Favre before taking over. Rodgers became a Pro Bowler, and while Whisenhunt isn’t declaring that for Leinart’s future yet, the Cardinals do expect Leinart to be a success.

“Matt has been very fortunate to play behind a quarterback who has played at as high a level as anybody the last couple of years and he has seen the work and the preparation and time that it takes,” Whisenhunt said. “We have seen things on the practice field from Matt every day – things that everyone doesn't see -- that lead us to believe he is going to be a good quarterback.”

He said all the right things and also sounds like he's going to really work hard in the offseason to make the team his, I like his attitude. Hopefully the talent is there to go along with the confidence
