Not even close from where i sat. Lots of Vikings fans in the lower deck on the visitor's sideline, but overall, there were maybe 20-25% Vikings fans (which is still a lot!).

I was in the Ring of Honor level on the visitor's side, and this picture (unfortunately kinda blurry) shows almost nothing but red on the home side.

Cards fans were later to arrive than Vikings fans, most likely getting to the game after work, while the visitors came from their hotels hours early. This picture was taken at kickoff so there were still some empty seats, but they filled with even more fans wearing red.

...dave
Yeah it was definitely in the 20-25% range. Lots of Cards fans in the scalper owned seats by us as well. Maybe Cards fans are starting to step up and pay the higher prices for tix

I disagree that the Vikings game was a weak showing for us, that we were soft physically or showed little heart on D.

First however, I'll never take a win for granted, any win. I've seen us lose too often. I'm thankful for every win, no matter how it happens. It's difficult to win an NFL game, even against bad teams, and Minnesota isn't a bad team.

We've now won 7 in a row, which isn't easy under any circumstances, but is even more difficult when you look at some of the teams we've played and when we played them. Those 7 wins were VS the Ravens, Browns, Seattle, Cincinnati, San Fran, Rams, and Vikings. To win all 3 divisional games in that stretch is no small feat. To win all of those games is a large feat of awesomeness.

Furthermore, 3 of those 7 games were in prime time, where our record has been abysmal. We won all 3. NFL players are creatures of habit, they love their schedules and routines, yet we played 1 flexed prime time game and another Thursday night game. We beat the 49ers, Rams, and Vikings in an 11 day span.
Very well put.

Tough schedule and the team found a way to win. Shows a lot of character.

I don't believe the D laid down for the Vikes game. they played hard and shut down the run game. I think Bettcher's game plan left too many guys so wide open there wasn't a Cards player within 10 yards. That hurt when we needed a big stop.

Offense has to convert when down in the redzone to take the pressure off the D.

I think I have a pretty decent record seeing the Cards live:

1978: Cards 16 Eagles 10
1982: Cards 23 Eagles 20
1985: Cards 7 Eagles 30
1986: Cards 10 Eagles 10(Worst game I've ever seen live)
1987: Bucs 28 Cards 31(Best game I've ever seen live)
1987: Cards 31 Eagles 19
1988: Cards 21 Eagles 31
1990: Cards 23 Eagles 21
1998: Chargers 13 Cards 16
2008: Cards 35 Jets 56

6-3-1 Not too shabby.

Given the teams overall record during that time, I would call you a good luck charm.

(edit: I really have to ask what people want. In the regular season this is as good as it gets, but I don't see celebration. Ridiculous)

Chalk it up to Cardinal fan PTSD. Seriously, I think that's what it is. We've been fans for so long and been though more misery than happiness and whenever it looked like things were turning around, something bad happened to derail it. Like when Timm Rosenbach was starting to show promise. He was Jake Plummer before there was Jake Plummer. Not a great QB but an exciting one with a huge upside. 1990 gave us some hope. Then in pre-season the next year he blows out his knee effectively ending his career(he was never the same after that). Then there was the Plummer years. We finally make the playoffs after many years, and we even beat the Cowboys in the playoffs. Then the next year they blow up the team and we're back to the same old Cards. Then there's the magical year of 2008. Then we go back to the playoffs in 2009. After that, same old Cards. And now we have the past 3 years. We win 10 games and miss the playoffs(2nd time in our history that has happened). Then last season, we were going fine and then Palmer goes down and even though we still won 11 games and made the playoffs, we embarrass ourselves in the wild card game.

Now this year is the best squad this franchise has ever put on the football field. And as happy as we can be, we long time fans always have this pit in our gut like any minute the rug is going to get pulled out from under us. It's not easy letting to of the past.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but Fitz put the DB on his ass to spring Smikey Brown's TD. One of my favorite plays of the year. The whole bar erupted with that one, even in California.

You're "right" in your assertion that the defense wasn't showing any heart? What qualifies you to say something like that definitively? Dude, it's your opinion, and you need to stop taking what people say on this forum so personally, or go back to the official site.

Go back and watch the game @ Seattle from 2012. That's a team without any heart. This team is anything but heartless if you open your eyes and ears and watch how these guys rally around each other and play balls to the wall for their coaches.

Your opinion is a bit off-based considering that the deficient defensive performance could be attributed to a) exhaustion from playing three games in 10 days and/or b) a piecemeal defensive game plan. Never once did I feel like this team lacked any heart, not even one time this season, in victory or in defeat.

Good post TJ.

Obviously you missed the point of my posts so let me dumb it down to a level that you could comprehend:

Teams that are serious contenders are peaking around this time. They are at all full cylinders for the playoffs. NAMELY Seattle. They have been doing this for the past two years: getting hot for the playoffs. The Cards are NOT peaking during this time, which scares me. They are barely getting by.
With the way they are playing don't be surprise where they end up during the playoffs. Make no mistake, THEY PLAYED SLOPPY AGAINST THE VIKES. NOT THE TIME TO BE DOING THIS.

Idiotic take. Just idiotic. When the Cards win the Superbowl, you are going to be worried about how that impacts their free agents.

Abosolutely loved. The best blocking wide receiver in NFL history (who would know?).

Stop right there. First of all, let me make something clear, I really DO NOT GIVE A HOOT if YOU don't like my tone and "attitude." There was NOTHING in my posts that has PERSONALLY disrespected ANYONE on this board FIRST.

Second not everyone is a HOMER, and last time I have checked this is a message board and people DO have a difference of OPINION when voicing them in this messageboard. If YOU don't like my "attitude" concerning my concern for this team, then go run to the mods, or put me on ignore. SIMPLE.

Telling someone you'll "dumb it down" for them is not disrespecting them?

You dont know me to make an assessment like that, so that in itself was a idiotic take:mulli:

...The Cards came out flat and it showed...

...putrid showing and a pathetic win...

The fans...should be embarrassed...

That's just absolutely abysmal and pathetic...

They are looking more like pretenders.

Somebody hand this man a handful of percosets. There seems to be an inordinate amount of fans, who expect blow out wins every GD week. Ridiculous. I watched a badass, hard fought game, with the team thats now 11-2 getting some breaks, as teams who play to that record usually do. That stuff doesnt happen in a vacuum. Chips down, play made, game won.

WTF else is there?!?!? And Im a supremely BFS fan.

I'm not familiar with this guy. Is he always like this?

I don't know but based on his over the top posts and snotty attitude I took his suggestion and put him on ignore.

I get wanting your team to keep evolving and improving but it's unrealistic to think we will win by double digits every week.

I thought he sprung Michael Floyd? Either way, that was one BAMF'n play. Fitz is a beast (and yes, who woulda thunk it?).

I made my Son watch it a couple of times. Told him a receiver who can't block is useless.

If the Cards win the Super Bowl my life as a sports fan will be complete. Anything after that will be gravy.

I'd like to think that if Fitzgerald caught the pass, Floyd would have done the same..... But I'm not sure it would have happened that way.

Fitzgerald is so badass. His blocking has actually improved this year compared to last. Last year, when he crashed the line, he didn't engage the LB's the way he has this year. He's pancaking dudes now. His pancake on Harris Thursday was nothing compared to the seal blocks and other moves he's putting on dudes inside the 8 man fronts. He's the #1 reason our running game has improved so drastically. He's able to eat up a LB and allow Veldheer and Iupati to climb levels and engage the other LB's or a safety. That's huge.

Have to laugh at the Seattle peaking comment when they've gone 5-2(with 2 of the wins over SF and 1 over Dallas) their last 7 games, while the Card have gone 7-0 with a win at Seattle.

So far Seattle has played 5 likely playoff teams in GB, Minn, Carolina, Arizona, and Cincy...... their record against those teams........1-4.

Oh, but they're a totally different Seattle team now Cbus. Just ask anyone of their obnoxious fans.

I want to see them get eliminated early on in the playoffs, just so we can get a full 8 month break from listening to that fan base.

Really? Please go find it every week. I'll wait. Post links, not "oh, you say it every week". Face it, you're a liar and you know it. And if you're referring to last night, I said the defense wasn't showing any heart and I was right. It took an incredibly stupid play call and Dwight Freeney to do what he does to seal a win. Otherwise, the defense played with zero intensity and allowed an awful offense to click on all cylinders. This is a matter of fact. Don't like facts, then I don't know what to tell you.

I knew you would come back with some kind of crazy tirade. Lets see a simple search revealed, you either said this team has no heart, the offense has no heart, or the defense has no heart in the game day threads (just this year)dated;
10/21
10/26
11/1
11/15
11/22

Ya I am a liar....

Dude we get it you like to over react to everything, no big deal we're used to it. In fact we expect it.

And to further my point look what Carolina is doing to the Falcons.

Great teams separate themselves from the pack, so please tell me how the Cards put themselves in the same breath as Carolina, Seattle, and NE this year??

Seriously we have a better record than Seattle and beat Seattle in Seattle and NE hasn't looked overly dominant by any means lately and Atlanta looks awful not just today but maybe in their last 7 games where they are 1-6.
