I am sure I fail more often than I would like, but I would think that "saying the same thing over and over again in the face of overwhelming contradictory evidence that you refuse to address" is not an accurate description of my contribution to this community.

I don't know if that's true. From what I remember reading, in the off-season every team's training facility is open to all current NBA players regardless of the team they are under contract with, and all free agents and rookies. And that is the extent to which teams are involved in those activities. Official team activities don't start until training camp. And free agents do occasionally participate in those workouts.

Still, I will grant that Bledsoe's case is a bit unique, because he is a high-value RFA and not merely someone who is trying to find a home. But if it is revealed later that he was actively training with other NBA players while the Suns players were holding their workouts, then this argument is moot.

There is a big difference between working out with some random players around the league and tossing on a uniform that says "Phoenix Suns basketball" and running drills hosted by the Suns and ran by the coaching staff.

There is no chance that any player in Bledsoe situation would take part in them, and, like I said, I would imagine its not even allowed.

If those workouts are anything like your description then I would agree. I was under the impression that these were essentially pick-up games organized by players and nothing more. I thought the coaching staff is actually not allowed to have on-court contact with the players during the off-season. The league strictly regulates when and how often teams can hold practices. You are describing a regular practice. I tried to locate those clips but was unable, and don't recall seeing them in the past. Nevertheless, I will plead ignorance on this issue since it's hard to find any definite information.

I'm not sure how much the coaching staff is involved but I've always been under the impression that they're there. And I am absolutely certain that they're officially hosted by the team and played in the teams facilities.
