while true that he was undrafted, he was a first team all-conference player (don't remember if that was in the old swc before breakup). i also think he may have been player of the year in the same year as terrance rencher, bj tyler, etc. at texas. he was considered more talented that vroman would have been back then.

Point is, Bo was undrafted, despite someone saying he was a first-round pick.

i don't disagree with your sentiments, i just don't have one iota of faith in the sausage king being anything more than a 6'10 warm body.

also, you're not giving pollard enough credit, on a good passing team he is an addition. i don't think the pacers knew how to use him.

If he can give us some minutes and boards each game, he's a plus no matter what for a second round guy. If he works as hard as the scouting reports say, the competition for center on our team is WIDE open this year, he could get SIGNIFICANT minutes!

Right now he is one of only four inside guys. I'm hoping the re-sign Dice and perhaps an FA center, but even then he could get minutes if he hustles. If the Suns do not get an FA center, he could get a lot of minutes.

Didn't Bird pick just 2 spots ahead of where he was taken? Not saying Vroman won't be good since I haven't seen him play, but if bird really wanted him it wouldn't have been a stretch for him to draft him.
