Player Att Comp Yds Comp % Yds/Att TD TD % INT INT % Long Sck Sack/Lost Rating
Kurt Warner 413 259 3109 62.7 7.5 24 5.8 15 3.6 62 20 140 89.9

If Kurt throws 4 td passes against the Rams on Sunday(which could happen), he'll tie the Cards record for most in a season. His 89.9 Rating is the best since lomax 92 rating back in 84. If he would have started the season he would have smashed the record. We all mouth him for his fumbles but the dude only has one arm. If I were Whiz, I would tell Leinart that he has to prove he deserves the starting job next year, I know Warner is not the long term answer by far, but the guy can still play and I feel gives us the best shot next year. That's just my opinion.

89.9 hmmmm. That's good, and approaching very good.

Not considering the fumbles, certainly good enough to get the team into the playoffs.

We we're close this year guys. Really, really close.

Always difficult to compare QB's from different eras... I do think Warner is a better passer than Lomax... Better QB? I don't know...
Warner in his prime may have been a tad bit better, but there's NO way he's better at this juncture of his career. Lomax had a gun for an arm & was accurate, whereas Warner has relied on timing & accuracy. They are similar in that neither was mobile, although Lomax seemed to have better pocket presence. I watched both guys & personally, I have to give Lomax the edge. Lomax to Green was absolutely lethal!!!!!!

Warner is a turnover machine, even if he had 4 arms.

Come Sunday, if Warner gets the type of protection Tom Brady gets from the PATS O-Line, he could easily throw for 6 TDs against the putrid Lambs.

It seems that every time someone writes that we should easily win the next game, our opponent turns into a raging tiger. We can win the games that some say, "no way," and yet, lose the sure thing.

It's going to be a nail-biter, I don't doubt that at all. I'd be highly surprised if either team won by more than a TD. With the state of our defense, we could easily wind up on the short end if we turn the ball over a time or two.
