Does anyone realize how special it will be to see these 2 future HOF'ers duel it out in person, especially on national TV. This is one of the reasons I wanted to fly out to AZ to see this game. Both are gunslingers and I hope their hype lives up to what I expect...a shootout!!!

I hope it's a one sided shootout. with warner flying high, and Manning somewhere under a pile made up of Calais Campbell, Dockett, Alan Branch, and Karlos Dansby

The Colts are prone to laying a couple of eggs each season. (Every team is, except for regular season freaks like the 07 Pats, 98 Vikings, 85 Bears). If they were playing someone besides us, I'd be expecting the Colts to be flat this week and lose. They have a great excuse to not be at their best. Since they are playing us though, I'll worry a bit.

Bottom line, I hope the Colts play terrible and America is switching their TVs off at the end of the 3rd quarter we're blasting them so bad. Screw the shootout.

Wouldbnt that be nice just for once to blowout a good team on a National primetime televised game? Man that would be good!

Manning has probably been picking Aaron Francisco's brain for tidbits about the Cardinals defense since the hour he arrived in Indy.

If the Cardinals defense can at least slow down the Indy offense, maybe the Cardinals can win it on special teams. (See last year's Dallas game.)

I am definitely looking forward to this game. Will make for a long Sunday, being that I am on the hated east coast.:)

Maybe I should have left out the game thoughts out of this. Think about just being able to witness 2 of the best QB's of all time playing in this game. 10-20 years down the road you can look back or maybe tell your grandchildren how we got see maybe the greatest QB ever (Manning) & one of the most unlikely NFL stories & Hof'er (Warner) playing at the same time. I can remember as a little boy watching Jim Brown & Johnny Unitas at the Cotton Bowl and my dad explaining to me how they were all time greats.

Sunday is a special night if you put it into perpesctive with these 2 greats getting nearer to the end.

I cannot wait. These are my two of my all-time favorite QB's. Both are gunslingers. Neither one knows how to give up. Aggressive. Smart. A joy to watch.

It's going to be a barn burner.

Manning is truly amazing... has to be the most intelligent QB to ever play the game. What he did last night was unreal. When you consider the Colts only had the ball for 1 quarter of the game, yet he still pulled out a victory... it was masterful. Truly amazing. And he surpasses Johnny U in terms of 4th quarter comeback victories.
I'm not certain, but I really don't believe Kurt is anywhere near Manning in in terms of 4th quarter comeback wins. And, I am still not sold on Kurt being a Hall of Famer.... yet. I think this season will end being the make or break for Kurt. If he can follow up last season with one more very solid(doesn't have to be league-leading great) year and start a minimum of 13-14 games, I think he'll go in. But, if he lays an egg this season, and/or only plays in 10 or so games, I think it's pretty iffy...

In the normal situation Kurt would have been able to shake off that stinger he got in that horrible hit he took in the 9er game.I hope that is all that happened to him.If it continues to bother him,I'm gonna be the first one to start and wonder if age maybe a factor.Kurt even added in an interview that after last week everyone thought his age was the main contributor and he got old overnight and that it really bothered him you could tell.I don't think he feels any older. For those who did'nt watch the tape,Warner took some viscious hits from the Jags blitzing corners and safties during and after some throws Sunday right on that shoulder. He always does wait to get that hit just so he can make the right pass.GOD Bless him.

If Warner's whole football career as in Arena ,that is now closed and Warner was its first and only HOF member.Wonder which broom closet they have that in now?:DPlus his success in Europe,College,HighSchool and then his first real year in the NFL and more?Boy that was a long sentence........lol

I don't think the writers are gonna hang EVERYTHING on whether the most current thing in his closing of his career has to be earth shaking like Elway going out with two SB's yet he did it with a STUD running back T.Davis who gave his career up for those two awesome years and those two SB's and everyone thinks now that John won em' with his arm.He did'nt.What people remember is a shame when it comes to football and its past.

Warner has never had awesome offensive lines or defenses that could get him the ball back like Montana's and Steve Youngs (paid under the table) teams did.Now they have the curse of the Yorks forever in 9er land. And Sunday they hung a banner in memory of Eddie Debartalo for all the cash he spent to bye those trophies. It won't ever happen again that way.Even if Jerry Jones and lil' Napoleon in Washington try thier hardest to get it done the old way.

I know the records that Dick Vermeil keeps on Warner are the best in the world and he wants to be the one to speak on Warners behalf when the time comes.(so get some kleenex)I hate how big things accomplished by this old man now are no big deal anymore. We all keep expecting miracles out of him. He's never been a qb to have to come from behind. In the two SB losses he's had he led his team back to the lead or a tie in the pats SB,just so the defense could give one away in :48 seconds with the pats having no timeouts and last years prevent defense that gave away that win.

I really think we have the talented personel on this team now,BUT they are not ready yet to perform as in DRC and Rashad Johnson and Beanie Wells. These guys are gonna be AWESOME but are not yet ready to handle and win this game with the Colts offense this week.I'm just hoping its not a blowout like the ones we had away last year. Two home losses would really have the wolves at the door.I even forgot to mention how I think Calais' Campbell is also gonna be something special pretty soon also if he can bring the qb down when he gets his hands on him the first time.

We will have to help Gandy and Levi Brown this game against Freeny and his partner in crime Mathis on the other side. Its speed like that that kills our OT's.Plus is Levi healthy on that ankle now also??? We can't afford to put a gimp out there to block such speed.Whiz don't take his word for it.Start the vet over him.

Last week was the first week I ever wrote a post that was'nt a real Koolaid drinker and we ended up winning so I'm posting this one in hope's I have to eat crow again. Its too easy to say I'll just eat crow around here.If it gets us a win.I'll buy a crow suit at my age.A white bearded crow.:DI hope Coach Davis has'nt slept all night coming up with his gameplan. All he had was the Jags game to go on before last night. He & Whiz are probably still locked in the room together before they come out to give it to the team today.Me thinks that loads of caffine has been pumped into that room.:)GO CARDINALS

Well since the 2 biggest weak links in our defensive secondary our gone from last season and one of them was Aaron Francisco I don't worry too much about Manning picking his brain.
