Toward the end of the t.v. broadcast they posted a stat related to the one they started the game with.

Before the game started they said this was the first time 2 QB's who had 3 games in a row of 120+ QB rating had ever faced each other.

At the end, Warner had another 120+ game and it is the first time since 1965 when Johnny Unitas did it that a QB has had 4 straight games of 120+ rating.

There is a lot of congratulations to go around for tonight's effort but I also wanted to point out just how historically good Warner is playing right now. Most everyone knows he's playing well but he's playing better than he ever has right now.

I'm talking about his GSOT days as well. His last 4 games have been simply ridiculous:

88/121 72.7% 1,210 yards 10 YPA 12 TD(9.9%) 0 INT 137.4 rating

I really hope he doesn't retire when he's playing this well but just in case he does, I encourage everyone to really soak in what he's doing.

I predict on my own a fall for the vikes with what happened to Henderson and the game the CARDINALS played will help other teams that can,do just what we did to the vikes.

The vikes play the Bengals and giants as two of thier final four games and if they lose them and we win out.We have the tiebreaker on them and can get a first round bye still.

I know this is a VERY LONG SHOT as Whiz will want to rest players probably in the packer game.Unless that game comes down to what I just mentioned. Then I think we play it all out for a week off before a home game.

Maybe a team like the eagles does what it did last year and goes into the superdome and beats the saints and we get the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 2 years in a row at home. Not that I don't think we could play an awesome ROAD GAME this year especially.

I'll get jumped on but I fully believe if Kurt Warner had played last week we would have won the game and things would have gone totally different from what they did. Thus giving us a perfect road record. It does'nt matter now but Warner is on a tear like never before in his whole career.I don't want to see it end.

Now you're all welcome to call me a loon.I just saw us beat one of the best teams in the NFL pretty badly. Not just by a touchdown or a fluke win.It could have been worse with a couple of those Field Goals turned into touchdowns with more aggressive play calling.Whiz wanted to focus too much on running clock for the win instead of the points and thats fine too.Sometimes he just plays it too close to the vest.

When we play the saints we can't take the foot off the pedal for anything.I hope he knows that.

Those numbers are absurd. Kurt has been doing it big as of late.

Doug-----I agree with you on the Vikes taking a fall from here out. I think they will miss EJ much more than they believe-----because, while they have other bodies well prepared to play Mike, they don't have EJ's leadership qualities. I believe you were the one who said that he is the Q of the Vikes team. I believe that too. Despite having Allen, Favre, All Day, the Williams bros. etc,-----EJ was the rock that this team was built around. By his very expamle, he made others around him better, (just like Q does here). He WAS their inspirational leader, and he will be sorely missed.

Couple that with having shown the rest of the league HOW to beat the Vikes, and the rest of the schedule would seem to loom large for them. We might just have given ourselves a Christmas present.
