Just got mine too. If he was coming back wouldn't he just announce it? Why hold a press conference for that?

I think he may retire its pretty early after the season for good news
That and whats the purpose of holding a press conference for coming back. To me you hold a press conference when you retire and you just announce you're coming back if that's what you're doing. What questions to ask about him coming back worther of a full press conference?

I would guess that he's calling a press conference to discuss all these Dockett rumors.

He's of an age that probably doesn't know how to "tweet", and so he's getting his viewpoint out the old school way by calling a presser.

I just lost my appetite.

I ate a burger, it was quite good.

Actually ESPN was on stating that he was having the press conference Friday. He's ready to move on.

Well that was a fun 2 year run. My glass is half empty...:(

"His departure leaves former first-round pick Matt Leinart as the starter in Arizona for now. Leinart has struggled thus far in his career."

I'm afraid he's done my friends....

If he was staying, he would not be scheduling a press conference. He is going to thank the Cards organization, the Rams organization, his teammates, coaches, etc. It gives him the podium to be cathartic about his career.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals have scheduled a Friday press conference to address Kurt Warner's future.
According to Schefter, "all signs point" toward Warner hanging 'em up. His retirement would leave Matt Leinart as the Cardinals' only quarterback under contract for 2010; third-stringer Brian St. Pierre is a free agent. Warner, who turns 39 in June, finished the 2009 season with a 66.1 completion rate, 26:14 TD-to-INT ratio, and 3,753 passing yards. He indicated to ESPN's Rick Reilly last week that playing football had lost its fun.

Been thinking about this, and if Kurt does retire, we can even pick up a vet like Pennington or Bulger as a backup until we lose a Free Agent, since we finished in the Top 8.
