I really don't understand how TJ hasn't improved as a shooter in four years. If he could get to 35% from behind the line, he would be unstoppable. If I were him, I'd be shooting a thousand threes every day during the offseason. The thing is, his shot is fine. He doesn't have a broken jumper- form is fine, release is fine. He just needs to add 2-3 feet to his range.
Disagree on his form. He shoots the ball with a lot of arms. It works great for mid range shots, but is going to be more and more inconsistent the further from the basket he gets. He needs to learn to shoot more from the ground up on his 3s and he won't come up short so much. Most of his misses seem to be on the short side.

I have actually seen Jackson working on this quite a bit. Earlier in the season he would always jump like two feet off the ground on his outside jumper, but now he is only jumping as much as he needs to and even barely coming off the ground on some of his attempts. His jumper is looking more consistent because of it. It gives me hope for his future as a shooter when I see him trying to make some pretty drastic changes.

Me too. I really think Jackson is going to end up being the player we all were hoping he’d be pre-Draft.

He’s got that dog in him that won’t quit and can’t be taught.

That's what everyone loved about Jackson when he was in HS, he was about the only elite 5 star prospect in that class that played that hard, especially on defense. He's obviously had a tough transition to the NBA but he's figuring it out.

I remember reading the comments at the McDonalds' game practices, they said it was obvious watching how much harder Jackson played than most of the kids there.
