What a dismal beginning! The small ball and zone defense is just getting the Suns massacred on the defensive boards. Jake Voskuhl, Shawn Marion, and especially Tom Gugliotta have done a horrible job of boxing out. If the Phoenix Suns were shooting poorly they would be down by 20 + points.

Unfortunately that should be expected when the Suns are playing a big team with small ball.

Suns got within 1 and JJ went to the bench. 7 straight by the Wiz.
JJ needs to be on the floor and they need to figure out how to get the ball to him - at least while he's hot.
Marion needs to stop shooting the 3 - You would think he'd learn:(

I think Mike should simply stop Marion and Eisley from shooting threes and I'm about ready to add Barbosa to that list. Casey is hitting 42% of his three's, so why is Eisley and Marion shooting them.

I am really losing patience with Eisley. He made a nice pass and a nice drive to the basket, but most of the time his running of the offense stunk. Why on earth is he shooting 3's and dribbling around?

It seems pretty obvious that the Suns need more big, athletic players. They are simply getting out jumped and out worked on the boards. Amare would help, but the Suns need more.

If the Suns can get on the glass on defense and take it to the basket on offense they have a great chance to win this game.

I hoe they can get that strightened out. A win tonight would ensure this trip is not a complete failure.

Zarko needs to get physical on the boards and on defense. At least he does if he wants to play.

The offense will come around with playing time.

He just doesn't look comfortable out there. :(

I would rather have seen Lampe over Googs in the amount of time he was given. I think his size could be a difference maker out there and he didn't appear to be a big liability on defense last time out.

That FT by Zarko was probably one of the ugliest shots I've ever seen. And, I'm going back to grade school.

Chris Dudley has met his match.

That is a classic quote from South Park. :D

Suns playing well too. I'm loving JJ and Marion's consistant play. Every night it seems they're doing the job and playing well off one another.

GO SUNS!

I really like how JJ is not putting up bad 3 point shots lately. Even if he's open he'll dribble in a few feet and hit the mid range J, which he is quickly becoming quite proficient at.

1st half 2-10 from 3, in the 3rd qtr 1-3.

This team should not be taking 20+ attempts per game from 3.

Harvey does a good job, but he's not a center. With Jake or White in the game, he really plays smart ball, but when he's the biggest guy on the court, we suffer.

You spoke to soon. JJ and the rest of the team have started hoisting up three-point shot after three-point shot.

 Have the Suns boarded the bus already? How else could we be losing this one?
