I'm so glad my season ticket prices were raised.

I'm so glad Kyler can't lead a receiver and puts the ball too high 80% of the time.

I'm so glad PJJ is on IR and we are a backup OL monstrosity as a run first team.

I'm so glad our DL can't get real pressure on a semi consistent basis.

I'm so glad we are gonna get sonned by the team I hate the absolute worst in the league.

I'm so glad we are on our practice squad RB to run this offense.

I'm so glad Uncle Drew Petzing Fester can't coach his way out of a paper bag.

I'm so glad this team went from 6-4 to a top 12 draft pick (kinda lowkey glad there, all things considered).

I'm so glad we left $20M on the table when every person on the planet, even those who have never watched American football, knew we needed an edge rusher.

I'm so glad we can't move on from K1 this season without taking a nasty cap hit even if we can trick someone into taking him in a trade.

I'm so glad the best TE in the league has one receiving TD.

I'm so glad that even if we could move on from K1, theres literally nothing in this draft or FA that would rebuild this rebuild.

I'm so glad that we won't be bad enough to get a generational *cough* transcendent QB in next year's draft.

I'm so glad the generational WR that was like a franchise Viagra overdose to me and the fanbase has been pretty pedestrian given his....wait for it...transcendent expectations.

I'm so glad we ripped out the north end zone to create casitas nobody uses.

I'm so glad the 15 yard line VIP sections were built so the cheerleaders have to go into locker rooms when the game is going on so the people not there can see.

I'm so glad this board still exists though. There is nowhere else I'd rather be so glad to be "so glad" to bitch and moan about this wreched franchise.

Happy New Year, you filthy, masochistic animals!

Another brilliant idea brought to you by the business mogul Michael Bidwill.
I mean, he's just trying to compete and wring as much money as he can from the gameday experience. The last time I was at a home Cardinals game was so bad and boring (against the Rams last year) that I have a difficult time imagining driving back out there, and I was on the club level.

It's crazy to me because it would seem like selling those one-game group packages would cannibalize the value of your skyboxes, which organizations lock down for 2-5 year contracts (I think). Based on my non-scientific study, those skyboxes looked pretty dark, but it was also at the end of a tanking season.

I'm just asking legitimately if those seats and casitas are really vacant. That would be incredible if so. Total misread of the market.

nah the whiners are smart - they don't need to win this game as any sort of validation - they'd rather move up in the draft

The 49ers played hard last night. I don’t think any players goes into a game saying, “ Let’s lose so we get a better draft pick.”
Players are on audition for contracts and free agency. Yes, staffs can hold players out or attempt different things that may affect the outcome of a game but the players won’t.

I actually think we win. No guys should be rested this last game. We have not developed enough chemistry on offense or defense to take this game off.

With a bunch of injuries and turnover, what is the value of any additional chemistry gained?

Let's go full preseason game 3 on this one. Kei'Trel Clark forever!

The money from them is not revenue shared with the league, IIRC. That is why they made them and pissed off a lot of fans.

I truly believe the NFL as a whole, has a problem with respect to gameday experiences. I recently attended a NY Giants game and it was horrendous. And after being a Cardinals season ticket holder for 20 years, I gave them up 3 years ago when they re-signed both Kliff and Kyler. The truth though was that the allure of being at the game, which involved a 50 min drive each way - sometimes longer, and putting up with a large and ever-growing population of drunken fools and fights, as well as large amounts of opposing fans, had finally wore me out. The Kliff and Kyler extensions were the final nail in that coffin...

IMHO, attending NFL games pales in comparison to the TV experience. I don't feel this way about college games. I LOVE attending ASU games. This year I attended games at Penn State and SMU and they too were loads of fun with great camaraderie pre-game and in the stands. The complete opposite of NFL games where you literally feel as though your head needs to be on a swivel and you're in constant self-protection mode.
The final 6 years of my Cards season ticket experience were spent in the Club Level. The food was decent, but along with the beer, tremendously overpriced. And, virtually every game of the 6 years in the Club Level there were tons of empty seats, not only in my section but in many other Club Level sections.

I don't know if my perspective is felt by others...and I don't know what the NFL, or the teams can do to remedy the problems I see. But coughing up my season tickets, though gut-wrenching, was easily one of the best decisions I've ever made!

The powers that be are pushing the true fan who lives on a budget out of the game. The owners make their money before the season even begins. Everything else is gravy.

If the team is good, fans are going to show up and have fun. The unfortunate fact for NFL owners is that a dispiritingly small number of teams are actually good. The NFL wants every team to be 9-8 or 8-9 and every game to be decided by seven points or fewer.

That's at cross-purposes to GMs who want job security and so are persuading bosses that a three-year rebuild starting with consecutive sub-seven-win seasons will reap a Patriots-like dynasty. At least the GM will get those three years, and maybe two more when they fire the head coach.

I haven't been to an ASU game in 30 years; the games start too late to bring my kids and they're too long. 2010 is in the Chandler Marching Band, so I'll probably make time next year to let him see how the Sun Devil Marching Band performs.

Some owner will self-finance a 35k seat stadium that's entirely suites, recliners, and skyboxes on the lower level. The only challenge is that the NFL is going to want some stadiums that can expand to accommodate 80k or more for Super Bowls.

I'm not sure they will get "BLASTED". San Francisco is really banged up and Dobbs might be the QB. But, as we know, Dobbs can have a game or two where he's pretty darn good so who knows?

I will, as always, expect the loss and hope for the win.

Hey, do the Penn State fans still chant "We want the lion!" and "We are...Penn State!" followed by "Thank you...You're welcome!" They clearly don't still have the one: "When I say Joe Pa you say Terno...Joe Pa...Turno!" :D

I hope the students don't do that stupid claw dance when the roar is sounded. I did it because you had to, but that was lame way back in '94.

The extensions made you stop being a season-ticket holder? Not the 15 other terrible seasons? lol wow I guess
