This team sucks.

What a poor excuse for a football team, to lose in such fashion, it is a disgrace.

Larry Fitzgerald aside, it was a poor performance. This season has been, and will be summed up with a missed FG, Tyrann Mathieu being beat on 3rd down, and a holding penalty to erase ANYTHING productive being done on offense.

This team should be ashamed.

I know Larry and Carson earn millions of dollars regardless of our record, but I can't help but be embarrassed for them. Larry hitched his wagon to this team despite the losing seasons, and Carson came here to win at the end of his career. Yet, here we are again, irrelevant and rebuilding.

Our defense disappointed me again. Not the elite unit it pretends to be. How many times do they give up TDs in spots where they need to hold the team to a FG? Mathieu needs to get it figured out quickly or he will be cut or asked to take a pay cut next year. Defensive line is full of JAGs at this point. Nkemdiche makes zero impact.

You're putting this loss on the defense? They're not elite, but they're not the problem. Offensive line, running game, lack of offensive weapons. Not saying the defense was great, but with a competent offense the D was good enough

This team now reminds me of the Vikings, when Favre cane back for his last year...and all the magic was gone. They were so old and broken down.

The Cards need to follow their lead and start the rebuild on offense.

CP was VG. Consider the OL and lack of a running game. Would I have liked to see him throw the ball away on some of his sacks? Sure, but I was REALLY IMPRESSED with his toughness. And, once again, thank you Larry for all the thrills you provided me over the years, both on and off the field.

They gave up 4 TDs last night at home...one to put the opposing team up two scores vs one. For all of the talk that they are one of the best in the league, they crapped the bed when the team needed it the most.

Palmer is done talent wise.

But, if he was the leader of my team, I would stand by him. He is really being a good leader in a situation that is a train wreck.

It's shocking how bad the right side of the Oline played. Shocking. I think I heard Levi Brown laughing at how bad Veldeer played.

Regarding Veldheer:

Someone else posted about it being difficult to change your muscle memory 180 degrees in a short amount of time. I completely agree with this...and further, when you watch tape of Veldheer lining up, he starts out with his right foot up and left foot back, as he would have done on the left side...then you can almost see him looking down, as he reminds himself to change his stance. His head is all messed up...and it's ruining any usability he has left.

I too am impressed with. certain aspects of Palmer's game, but - for whatever reasons - there are problems:

I am not thrilled with what looks to be designed roll-outs. Is BA calling these plays or is it just Palmer checking down to them? Carson can't run or throw on the run. Plus - he's gonna get killed.

Sacks are only one byproduct of poor pass pro. Consider the number of times Carson threw as he was falling backward. Lack of velocity and accuracy = "Pick City."

No, BA doesn't change for anyone ... many called him out that he should help his O-line more all week. But, nope.

He doesn't start playing his TE more, don't run empty sets, start using trickplays or runplays that could work. Nothing like that.

His Playbook works - it is the players ... the coaches are great ... it is players fault ...

I remember someone that said similar things ... yes Whisenpunt did that too ...

Simply put, this team is incapable of playing 60 minutes of good football on either side of the ball. It's that simple.
