This is common practice in the NFL. Teams work out random players every Tuesday to have a "ready list." In case players go down.

Means absolutely nothing. Don't look into it.

If Roberto Aguayo comes out I would spend a late first or a second on him in a heart beat. He's by far the best kicker I've seen since Janikowski in the 90s.

Well he did only miss 2 there in 4 preseason games instead of 3 when it counts

Let us not forget that he also leads the league in PATs, it's bound to happen on a few. If he consistently starts doing it sure, but overreaction central per the usual here. He's sitting at #12 in the league in FG percentage, I'm not too worried about the PATs at this point.

We tried that with a Ucla kicker years ago and I don't think he made it 2 years and was out of the league. I believe his name was John Lee???

Give it a rest already, there are 7 other kickers who have missed 3 XPA this year and only 10 who are perfect which means 22 kickers have missed this year at least once. Of those 10, three have had only 12, 19 and 20 attempts this year. Cat has had 42 tries along with Gostkowski who has not missed on 42 tries.
